Misfit In Love

The slums are not a good place to be.

Ollie's P.O.V

I have no idea where we're going, Frank seems to know and when I asked he just said,

"Tomo might be there,"

I got a little confused and started humming a song I made up soon enough I was singing the words.

In the middle of a gun fight
In the center of a restaurant
They say
Come with your arms raised high

Well they're never gonna get me
And like a bullet through a flock of doves
To wage this war against your faith in me
Your life will never be the same
On your mother's eyes say a prayer
Say a prayer

Now
But I can't
And I don't know
How we're just two men
As God had made us
Well I can't
Well I can
Too much too late
Or just not enough of this
Pain in my heart for your dying wish
I kiss your lips again

They all cheat at cards and the checkers are lost
My cellmate's a killer
They make me do push-ups in drag
But nobody cares if you're losing yourself
Well I'm losing myself and well
I miss my Mom!
Will they give me the chair?
Or lethal injection or swing from a rope if you dare
Oh nobody knows all the trouble I've seen

Now
But I can't
And I don't know
How we're just two men
As God had made us
Well I can't
Well I can
Too much too late
Or just not enough of this
Pain in my heart for your dying wish
I kiss your lips again

To your room
What they ask of you
They'll make you want to say
So long
But I don't remember
Why remember
You

Do you have the keys to the hotel
'Cause I'm gonna set this motherfucker on fire
Fire

Life is but a dream for the dead
And well I - I won't go down by myself
But I'll go down with my friends
Well I can't explain it, can't complain it
Now now now now
Now now now
Now now now

I finished the song and saw Frank smiling at me. I blushed.

"You have a great voice," I turned even redder.

We walked in silence until I noticed where we were. We'd arrived at the slums of New Jersey.

"Frankie, Why are we here?" I was getting a little worried.

He sighed.

"Tomo is in a lot of shit, he owes a guy a lot of money, but he doesn't have the money. I think the guy might have taken him. And the thing is Clara owes the guy money too,"

"Drugs?"

"Yep,"

I held Frank's hand tightly. He may be small but he can be vicious.

We walked along till we got to a scruffy little house.

"Stay here, it's safer here than it is in there," he quickly kissed me and walked up the cracked path.

He knocked on the door and waited, I have a feeling he's done this before, the door swung open and he walked in, leaving me all alone.

Frank's P.O.V

This house smells of pot. A year ago I would only come here to get pot but now...no way!
I quit because I realised that I was becoming like my dad.

"Iero! Long time no see," said Bert

"Uh...hi Bert. I need to ask you something,"

"Shoot," he said facing me properly. His eye's wouldn't focas with mine, he's fucking high!
Though I'm not really suprised.

"Tomo Thompson's missing, Have you seen him?"

"Nope, sorry. Haven't seen him in about 2 months, Right boys?"

Quinn, Dan and Japh nodded. Of course they would, they do everything that Bert tells them.
They always agree with him.

"Oh, okay, well bye then," I start to edge out the room.

"Wait! You need anything?"

I shake my head and turn, I need to get out of here.

I manage to get to the door, I open it, run out and grab Ollie's hand and make her run.
We soon have to stop, I really need to quit smoking.

"Frank, what happened in there?"

"N-Nothing, I just didn't like it, Bert says that he hasn't seen Tomo, but I don't believe him. He's done something to him, I can tell,"

We walked on a little just wanting to get the hell out of the slums.

All of a sudden a dirty guy, tramp, thingy fell out of an alley, right in front of us.

He looked up at us with fear in his eyes. Then he looks at me properly.

"Frank?"

I look back at him, I recognise him. But where ha-? No! It can't be!

"Tomo?"
