No Girl Deserves To Hear This

Don't forget: I'm just a girl standing here infront of a boy... asking him to love her.

One day a girl who has truely loved this boy since childhood has built up the courage to go and speak to him and tell him how much she likes him. This is how her conversation went,
and the events that followed:

Girl: 'Hi I really like you. And I... I think I'm falling in love with you.'
Boy: 'Ok...'
Girl: 'What do you mean "ok"?'
Boy: 'I don't like you like that...'
Girl: 'Why not?'
Boy: 'I can't tell you... maybe another time...'

From then on, the girl kept asking the boy 'Why not?' whenever she saw him, and he kept answering the same answer of 'I'll tell you later.' Finally the girl got fed up.

Girl: 'I'm tired of this! Tell me why you don't like me!'
Boy: 'Do you really wanna know why?'
Girl: 'Yes!'
Boy: 'It's because you're uglier than freaking crap! Your not good enough for me. What's the point of going out with someone when they're not pretty?!'
Girl: 'But... I...'
Boy: 'Just shut up and leave me alone! Okay just leave me alone.'

He told her this even though he loved her, but he was afraid of what his friends would think. So he hid his true feelings from her and watched in pain at her crying form.

The boy leaves and the girl sits there alone, crying her heart out, thinking she was ugly and unwanted. Then her cell phone rings. She rubs her wet cheeks and clears her throat.

Girl: 'Hello?'
Mom: 'Sweetheart? I want you to go home, ok? I'm stuck at work for a couple of hours, I'll be home from work in a few hours. Okay?'
Girl: 'Alright Mom.'
Mom: 'I love you darling.'
Girl: 'I love you too, Mom.'
Mom: 'Bye Bye.'
Girl: 'Bye'

The girl heads home and once she got home, she went in the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes slowly began to fill with tears until they started to spill continuously from her puffy eyes.

Girl: 'I'm not pretty enough...'

She set to work, knowing fully well what she was going to do.

Two hours later, her Mom came home and heard the bath water running. She went upstairs to find the hallway flooded so she knocked on the door.

Mom: 'Honey? You in there? Are you alright?'

She got no reply, she opened the door and was shocked at the site. The bath was overflowing onto the floor, and the water was tinted red. She walked over to see what was inside and screamed. There, her little girl was lying with cuts all over her face and wrists. Her mom backed away and was going to run to call the police when something caught her eye. On the mirror were these words written in blood: "AM I PRETTY ENOUGH NOW?"

No one deserves to be told that by someone they love. A PERSON'S APPEARANCE DOESN'T COUNT!! What counts is their heart inside of them and their personality. No one wants to be told they're not good enough... It definetly hurts to be told that you are ugly by the person who you truely care about or even love. It doesn't matter if the guy is perfect or the girl is perfect, as long as they are perfect for each other, it shouldn't matter what others think. Right?

So before you say something like this, if you really care and love someone, don't wait until it is too late. Or don't let go of your love because you need to keep your reputation up for your friends. Just tell the person how you feel about them before it is too late and there is nothing you can do about it, then regret it for the rest of your life. If you love someone you should say it, you should say it right then and there, out loud. Otherwise the moment just... passes you by...

Be brave on the inside aswell as the outside. The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love... and be loved in return.

Don't be afraid to take the chance. As it might turn out better than you think!
