Tree Top Children

Amelia turned around, scared. " This, is , so NOT funny!" she said, her voice cracked. The tree branches above her head made crackling sounds. Amelia shouted this time as her heart started to pound even faster; " OK now! Thats enough, im gettin outta here!". She started to walk faster and faster to the wall, suddenly she could hear the sound of someone running behind her. The scream , stuck in hear throat bursted out and then Amelia tripped over a stone and fell down , tumbling ; then finally she lay on the ground with her leg hurting alot. Her face was covered with dirt. She didnt open her eyes but she knew that there was someone close to her. Her leg ached again. Finally she opened her eyes slowly. 9-10 kids were looking at her. There she was, that red-haired girl! A blondish guy was staring at her, standing close. Amelia tried to stand up but her leg hurt again. The boy jumped back. " You entered our therithory without permission!" said the red-haired girl. Amelia felt very angry and said ; " And im leaving with your permission!". She stood up not caring about her hurt leg. But she realized that everyone was staring at her leg. She looked at it too. It was all covered with blood! A brunette girl from the kids stepped forward and said; " Oh c'mon!". The other kids looked at eachother. The brunette helped Amelia walking as the others started to go deeper into the forest. " Hey , my name Is Rosalie!" the girl said. Amelia stared at her with shock. "Really ?? My second name is Rosalie ! But i use Amelia.." said Amelia. Rosalie;
- OK , now thats weird! But.. I've never seen you before around here..
- Yeah, well, we moved here yesterday.
-That is nice, so where do you come from exactly?
-London.. the 'big' city
Rosalie smiled and walked faster. They were behind the other kids. They were going deeper into the forest and the rain was heavier. These parts of the forest were darker and looked like an Amazon forest. Amelia stared at her new friend with a glimpse of fear. But Rosalie looked very calm. Finally they arrived at a rocky hill. Amelia's leg hurted like warning her. " How am I going down this hill?" asked Amelia. Rosalie looked down the hill for a minute, thinking. Then she turned to Amelia and said;
- Can you ride on my back?
- Aw come on, we dont have a long way to the place..
- Rosalie.. im not sure, its not... heathy? Just.. no, maybe we should just..
Rosalie stared at her and said ; "Maybe we should just what? Turn back? No. BUt well you can go home, have a safe trip honey!". And then she was gone in a minute. Amelia didnt even understand were she went and how. Rosalie was gone behind the rocks.. Amelia tried to stand tall , ignoring her hurting leg. The rain was almost downpour now. Amelia shouted down the hill ; "Hey! Come back please!". But there was no one answering. She tried to walk through the rocks. She was almost going to lay on the ground and wait for someone to find her , she felt someone coming behind her. That 'unknown person' pulled her and in seconds Amelia found herself on someone's...back?. It was Rosalie! She was laughing hysterically while carrying her. After "swoosh"ing through the forest for a few minutes, Amelia talked with a cracked voice;
- But.. you... you were gone? Damn it, what did you just do?
- I couldn't just leave you, could i? Im not that mean, i came after you and waited hidden. ım an expert at these stuff Amelia. Now get off my back, we have arrived at the Tree Tops. Then Rosalie got beside Amelia and helped her walking. " Uh, you could find a more original name Rosalie!" said Amelia smiling. Rosalie pulled her towards a tree and said ; "Enough talking!"
