Dreamer's Escape
Fantasies Are Realities
“Jennifer, if you don’t get your butt out of bed, you’re going to be late for your classes,” my mom’s voice echoed from behind the door. I sighed as I realized it had all been a dream; I had created the beautiful castle with the marvelous things, sadly even the King had been a figment of my imagination.
I turned over to try and go back to sleep, wanting nothing more than to find that dream land and Hunter and forget about college classes. It was no use though, my mind was awake and there was no chance I’d fall back to sleep. Angrily, I opened my eyes to glare at the window; I instead found a white rose with a parchment attached to it. Sitting up, I untied the note and sat the rose gently back on the pillow; my heart pounded furiously as I broke the seal and unrolled the note.
To my beautiful queen,
You hold the end to the story of the real queen. I pray you return to me and your kingdom one day soon. I shall be waiting for the night that you return to rule, in the place where you belong, at my side.
