L.O.V.E.

E is even more than anyone that you adore can

Bam wrapped his arms around my waist as I stirred the meatballs around in the pan. He kissed my shoulder as his senses welcomed all the different smells of the dinner they were preparing together.

It seemed that he got the most use out of his kitchen since they had been together. He was using appliances that had occupied his counters that he had no idea how to use until he started to learn how to cook. That’s right ladies and gentleman Bam Margera could actually make a few basic meals that didn’t come out of a box.

He always laughed when he found out that I had no idea how to use a microwave. He learned that quickly wasn’t a joke when a dinner roll caught on fire.

Bam smiled sheepishly when a loud growl echoed in the kitchen. I laughed, “Hungry?”

“Maybe a little,” he admitted with a silly grin.

“Get the pasta for me, it should be done.” I assured him.

“I could just eat you,” Bam suggested teasingly as he sunk his teeth into my neck, smirking when he felt me shudder underneath his hands.

“You would like that wouldn’t you.” I held the spoon to his mouth.

“Delicious,” He groaned, letting the sauce linger on his tongue. He drained the rigatoni in the colander that sat in the sink. Drying his hands on a dishtowel, he placed a quick kiss on my cheeks. “I’ll be right back, I have to get something.”

“Alright,” I shrugged. “I’ll get our plates ready.”

“Perfect,” Bam agreed, while halfway up the stairs. He padded his pockets for a lighter and cursed when he didn’t find it. Finally finding one, he began lighting the candles around the living room that he had set up earlier that afternoon. He wanted the mood to be perfect, to be romantic.

I took two pasta plates out form the cabinet, smiling at how familiar I was with his home. I set out the two portions in the white pasta dishes with a pair of forks and napkins and carried it out to the patio table.

The cushions were already on the chairs and it was a beautiful summer night. The semester had ended a couple of weeks ago and I had all my grades put in. I could finally let loose and enjoy myself.

Walking back into the kitchen for our drinks, I grabbed a beer for Bam and a bottle of strawberry wine for myself. He used to tease me often for drink such a cheap drink, but now kept it in the house for me. I think that he secretly drank the wine himself.

I leaned on the railing, “Bam, babe. What are you doing?”

“I’m waiting for you,” Bam blurted out, hoping that he didn’t sound too anxious.

“Bam,” I whined, staying at the bottom of the stairs in the kitchen. “Let’s eat outside for a change. It’s too nice out to stay inside.”

Bam groaned, looking at all his hard work, but knew if he didn’t agree things might look suspicious. Things could work in his favor. Sunsets were romantic too. “I’ll be right out.”

“Okay,” I smiled. “Hurry up so our masterpiece doesn’t get cold.”

Bam sighed looking at the bag of rose petals in his hand that he had gotten from the flower shop. Just as well, though. Bam considered himself extravagant, in his own way and this was definitely not a good representation of himself.

He quickly blew out the candles and went downstairs. He ran his hand through his hair, frustrated that he was getting so antsy.

“What’s wrong?” I frowned, seeing Bam all wound up.

He jumped hearing my voice and caught himself before falling down the last few steps. “Nothing,” He assured, kissing my lips briefly. He tugged on my shirt and shook his head. “Too pink,” he teased at how my it matched my sandals.

I rolled my eyes. “That’s how we artists roll. We coordinate.”

“You’re cute.” He kissed my shoulder, his hand resting on the small of my back as he followed me out the back door. He sat on the loveseat bench and pulled me down next to him, propping his feet on the adjacent chair. “We should have just shared one plate.”

“Like Lady and the Tramp?” I chuckled. “We just need someone singing Bella Notte.”

Oh this is the night, it's a beautiful night. And we call it bella notte.” Bam sang teasingly, nuzzling his head into my neck as I laughed. Oh, how he loved that sound.

I sighed completely full and content in just laying in Bam’s arms. I watched as the last rays of the setting sun reflected off the water. The outdoor lights started to flicker on. I sipped my wine, letting the sweet alcohol tickle my throat.

Bam placed soft kisses behind my ear, looking at the vivacious beauty before him. He didn’t know why he was so anxious before. He had nothing to worry about. “Oliva?”

“Yeah,” I mumbled, letting my body sink into his.

“I love you.” Bam said sincerely, with all his heart.

I smiled softly to myself, never hearing enough of him telling me. “I love you, too, Bam.”

I looked at the bandana sticking out of his pocket and smirked to myself. Bam opened his mouth to finally delve into what he was scheming earlier. He jumped when another hand beat his to his pocket and felt his breath stolen from him.

I grabbed the bandana and grinned, now sitting in his lap. “Let’s play a game.”

Bam couldn’t help but smile and put off his plans for later. “What do you suggest?”

I bit my lip and pulled his shirt over his head. “Skinny dipping.” I giggled. “But,” I held up a finger. “No peeking,” I warned Bam.

“Now that’s just asking the impossible.” Bam grinned, his mouth watering at the idea.

I folded the bandana over and tied it around, covering his eyes. I laughed at his wandering hands. “No touching.” I placed my hands on his shoulders and kissed up his chest.

“I thought you said ‘no touching.’” Bam gasped as I nibbled on his earlobe, barely able to get his words out.

“I did.” I agreed, standing up. “For you,” I added cheekily. I took his hand and tried pulling Bam up, but he wouldn’t budge. “Come on, don’t you trust me?”

Bam sighed and stood up letting me guide him over to what he suspected and hoped was the pool. I let go of his hand and unbuttoned my shirt, letting it fall to the ground. I popped the button of my skirt and let that fall to my ankles as I stepped out of my sandals.

“I hear less clothing,” Bam grinned, sticking his hand out.

“Uh, uh.” I taunted him, grabbing his jean shorts and played with the waistline. “No touching.”

“This is cruel and unusual punishment, Liv.” He groaned, not knowing how much more of this he could take.

“Comando?” I giggled, raising an eyebrow as his shorts dropped leaving them next to the diving board as we walked closer to the pool. “Well, well Margera.” I stepped out of reach and dove into the pool. I surfaced and pushed my hair out of my eyes. “What are you waiting for, Bam? Come and get me.”

Bam smirked jumping into the pool, leaving the bandana in place. He knew the game I wanted to play. “Fee-fi-fo-fum,” he growled out playfully, listening to where the water moved. He smirked hearing me in the shallow end of the pool and followed his senses.

I bit my lip as he narrowly missed me and swam to the deep end of the pool, hanging onto the diving board over my head.

“I smell the blood of a gorgeous woman.” Bam spun in a circle, cursing silently when he no longer heard and movement. “Be she ‘live or be she dead.” He felt the bottom of the pool disappear as he treaded the water. “I’ll grind her bones to make my bread.” He smirked feeling the smooth, wet skin in his arms.

I let out a squeal of laughter as he grabbed my hips.

“Gotcha,” he smiled, satisfied to have the woman he loves in his arms. I carefully slid off the wet material and kissed his lips. He shook his head getting his hair out of his face. He looked down into the green orbs that sent his heart into overdrive. “Marry me.” He breathed out, supporting the both of us against the tiled wall.

I felt all my senses numb as I stared at him, wondering if this was really happening.

He reached behind me for his shorts. He grabbed the black velvet box out of the pocket and opened it, revealing the Tiffany ring he had proudly picked out himself. It had a large round brilliant diamond set on a channel-set platinum band. He held the delicate ring between his fingers.

“I’m serious, Olivia.” He tilted my chin to look at him. “You are the love of my life and my future. I am myself with you and feel free. I can’t picture my life without you in it. Will you keep my heart, forever?”

I swallowed, not able to find the words to form a coherent sentence I was so overwhelmed.

Bam took my silence as hesitation. “It’s fine if you want to wait too, Liv. I will always be there for you.” I shook my head still in disbelief. “No?” He licked his lips, trying to reason with rejection. He meant it though; he would wait as long as he had to.

“Yes, you fool.” I finally managed. I wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing me flush against his body.

“Yes, yes?” Bam choked, relieved as I nodded. He felt his heart burst, feeling complete. His fingers fumbled, almost dropping the ring as he slid it onto my left finger.

“Perfect fit,” I admired the flawless diamond.

“Just like us,” Bam kissed me long and hard. He knew he was no longer defected. He found his soul mate, like his brother had and his parents.

I laughed, “This will be a fun story to tell. Proposed while skinny dipping.”

Bam chuckled, “Woman, you cheated. You are not naked.”

I laughed, “You’re the one who went commando.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll soon fix this.” He grinned tugging on the lacey panties. Pink, coordinating with the rest of her outfit, like an artist would.
