It's a Love Story, Baby Just Say...

Present

The guys, Ricky and Ky came over later that night to lay flowers and
have dinner with Bonnie, Liam, Steph and I. It was the first time we
had all ever sat together and the gathering felt nice to me, right.

"Excuse me!" I quickly scooted my chair out and ran to the bathroom
before vomiting my whole meal. Kylee was the first one to come to my
rescue with a towel and glass of water.

"What was that??" she asked, wiping the gross-ness from my mouth.

"Probably my stomachs reaction to food after not having it for a
couple weeks."

"Oh, ya probably." Stephen came in next.

"Are you alright?" I nodded slumped back against the wall.

"All good here." Kylee left and Steph came to sit next to me.

"Do you feel sick still?" he asked and pushed my bangs behind my ear.

"No, actually I am insanely hungry for popcorn."

"Popcorn?" he repeated. I nodded, my mouth already salivating from the
thought of popcorn.

"Then let's get you some popcorn" I agreed and walked back to the
table with Stephen. He called a 'waiter' or as I call them servants,
over and whispered in his ear. The man nodded and walked back to the
kitchen.

"I'm okay, food just didn't agree with my stomach." Bonnie nodded and
we continued to eat our dinner without anymore interruptions.

-----------

The next morning Stephen took me out site seeing. I had been here for
almost a month and have yet to go out and see the country.

I pulled on a pair of shorts, a regular black t-shirt, flips flops,
and silver aviators.

It was so strange to me, having to disguise myself.

"I think Main Street would be a nice place to start." Stephen said as
we stepped out of the Castle gates. We were gonna walk down this
street, with intense security apparently, and then it turns onto Main
Street.

"So, are you feeling better today?" Stephen asked.

"Yes. I slept well last night, and I hope you did too. Especially
since you woke me up at like 2, with your snoring."

"I don't snore, loudly." I laughed.

"Well it was loud enough to wake me up. I ended up moving as far away
from you as I could and going back to sleep." Steph snorted and scoffed.

"Psh. It was not that loud." I guess someone's a little on edge about
their snoring.

"Are you kidding me? It was like your nose was making the equivalent
noise of a damn Elephant!" he stared at me and then looked at his
nose. Which was hilarious because Steph looked all cross-eyed.

"An elephant!" he cried. I couldn't keep in my laughter any longer and
let it erupt from my throat.

"Oh my, Hahaha! Stephen, that's hilarious!" I felt like a man woman
laughing so insanely loud.

"So you’re lying, right?" I nodded and wiped away the tears from
laughing so hard.

"That's not nice Tay." he mumbled. I kissed his cheek before we
turned onto the busy main street.

Taxi's passed us, honking loudly at the cars and cabs in front of
them. People on their cell phones hurried past us with shopping bags,
not even taking a second glance at Steph or I. I guess sunglasses
really do work...

"What kind of movies does Thara have?"

"The same kind as America. Well, with different actors and it's
usually in Italian."

As much as I wanted to go see a movie it would just end up confusing
me with the words.

"Do you have movies with English subtitles?" Stephen nodded and pulled
me closer to him as a group of teenage boys walked past us, doing a
double take on Steph and I.

"That'll do for now. Do a lot of people here speak English?"

"Most, but the older citizens don't. People in their 40's and 50's do
but above that, no. English is taught as a second language in school."

"Have you ever been to Antarctica?" I asked. Stephen looked over at me
and his eyebrows rose above his sunglasses.

"No...Have you?"

"Yeah. When I was 13. My dad let me go to Antarctica with this club I
was in. I protected to Penguins." Steph laughed and I pushed him gently.

"It was interesting! Don't make fun!" Stephen shook his head trying,
and failing to get rid of his laughter.

"I'm sorry. Just you in like, a snow suit is what makes me laugh."

"Shut up! I was 13! You can't exactly where an l.b.d and a pair of
heels to Antarctica."

"What's l.b.d?"

"Little black dress." I clarified.

"Oh. Well, onto other matters. Oops sorry!" Stephen called to the man
he just bumped shoulders with.

The man didn't turn just kept on walking.

"This is kind of like New York too." he added.

"I've never been to New York." I admitted.

"Really? Chicago?"

"Nope. Never really been out of California, well except for
Antarctica...oh and then a cruise to Mexico but that's about it..."

"Huh. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?"

"For vacation just somewhere in general so I can make a difference?"
Steph looked over at me, probably wondering where I could possibly
want to make a difference...

"Uhm vacation. But the second one too..."

"Well, if I could go anywhere to vacation I really want to go to
Australia, but to make a difference I want to go to Africa and build
(A/n; okay this is seriously my dream, so don't laugh) like four, five
story condo buildings and on the bottom floors I want to build a fully
functioning kitchen. Then like a common room for the second floor and
then two bedrooms in each with a bathroom, and then every week send
food down there and once they get their diets all straightened out
every 3 weeks." after I was done telling my life goal I looked over at
Stephen.

“That is so random Taylor.” Steph stated. I rolled my eyes behind
my glasses.

“You’re just jealous that I have a totally amazing life-goal and
you don’t.”

“Psh, ya, that’s it. My life goal is to get America to realize
Thara is important.”

“And how are you going to do that?”

“Are you my campaign manager now?” he asked laughing.

“Nope, just your support. Got any ideas?”

“My dad doesn't really let me do anything, so I don't know the
system. baby steps, but then against for all I know we can have
something top secret and I wouldn't even know it. So when I get there,
I'll letcha know." he smiled over at me and I couldn't help but smile
back.

-----------

"Wanna go down to the beach and surf?" I asked Stephen at 3:30 in the
afternoon. It made so happy to see his face light up.

"Really? You want to go surfing?" he asked excitedly. I nodded and
Steph tackled me on to the bed in a hug.

"I love you!" Stephen kissed my cheek and next over and over and over
again. I was giggling uncontrollably because it tickled.

"Steph- Ha-ah, Stephen!" I squealed. He smiled at me and leaned down.
His lips felt foreign to me, but in a good way. Like I hadn't actually
kissed him in such a long time I forgot what it was like. When we
pulled away I smiled like a fool at him.

"I love you too." Stephen smiled at me and then he glanced down at my
left hand.

"Stephen." I said in a warning tone. He sighed and stood up.

"Oh well, let's get ready to surf!" he said in that same excited tone.

"Give me a sec." I went into my closet and stripped down to my
underwear and looked in the mirror.

My baby bump and flattened a smidgen but was still there. To hide it I
put on a tan-kini so that the flap makes my stomach seem like it's somewhat flat.

I stepped out of my closet and walked out and down to the beach where Stephen was already waxing the boards.

“So what’s today’s lesson?” I asked, leaning against him.

“Just trying to get you to stand up.” He said, putting down the wax and picking him up in his arms.

I missed this. We weren’t ‘acting’ like we loved each other anymore, we were back to being in love.

Stephen POV

When Taylor was asleep I snuck out of our room and went to Georgia’s office. I knocked even though I didn’t need to.

“Come in!” she called from inside.

I stepped inside and she looked surprised to see me.

“Is something wrong Stephen?” I guess that’s a normal response to me showing up in her office at 11 pm.

“No, I need you to help me with something. It’s gonna be Taylor’s Christmas present but it’s going to take a long time to set up.”

“Well, why don’t you sit and we’ll write some stuff.” I sat and scooted my chair close to her desk.

“So what present is this exactly?” Georgia asked.

“Actually, it’s more of a project I want to help her with. She told me about it this afternoon and it’ll take some time to finish.”

“How long exactly?” Georgia questioned. I thought for a second. How long does it take to build 4 condos? Plus all the stuff we’ll have add like gas, water, electricity...

“A good 2 to 3 years maybe, maybe more.” Georgia dropped her pen and stared at me.

“What exactly is this project?!” she exclaimed.

“Okay so,” and I told Georgia the whole story and what I wanted to do for Tay.
-------------------

Georgia and I finished with the rough plans of the project about 2 this morning. She was going to make some, or a lot of calls to large building companies and pitch the idea and see if any of them can help out. Georgia also is contacting worldwide clubs and organizations seeing if any volunteers would like to help.

“Hey Steph wake up, guess where we’re going to day?” Taylor said loud enough that I could hear her even with the pillows covering my ears. It was only 9 o’clock, a couple more hours of sleep would be amazing.

“Where?” I grumbled.

“A children’s hospital; we’re going to visit kids, and read them stories and,” she kept talking but I was so tired that my eyes closed and I went back to sleep.

Taylor POV

Once I had finished listing off the things we were gonna do at the children’s hospital I peeked under Steph’s pillow. Instead of him being awake, Stephen was asleep and let out a huge snore of morning breath.

“Babe, that’s disgusting!” his eyes opened and looked at me.

“What are you doing under my pillows?”

“Your pillows?” He nodded.

“Ugh, just get ready; your mom is coming with us too.” I got off the bed and walked towards the bathroom.

“When are we leaving?”

“In an hour.” I closed the door behind me and locked it. He’s probably gonna get up 10 minutes before we leave...why is he so tired anyways?
