2. Confusion
As I walked into the greeting room I saw my mom walking in.
She was wearing a turtle neck which was odd because it was the midle of June.
I don't know if you can guess why she is wearing this..........well it because she is trying to hide the hickys she got form sleeping with Dave.
Wait no it might be Paul better yet it might be Andrew.Its kinda hard to tell which guy she has been sleeping with.
I think there are like five diffrent ones. As soon as my mom saw me she "ran" over to give me a hug.
I hard not to laugh when you see my mom try to run. She always told me that real ladies never run.
She kinda looks like a dog trying to ice skate. I mean I'm say all this mean stuff anout my mom but I do love her.
"Oh hony its so nice to see you I can't believe how long its been" she sighed. "Hi mom is nice to see you to. It's been almost a year since I last saw you.
I was your birthday.
You were turning 29........... again." I noticed that Beth couldn't help but laugh out loud and even Jack(my step dad) couldn't help but smile.
" So honey how was your flight in.I hope it was good?" she asked
"It was okay, I replied long.I had to sit in between a couple that kept fighting about there marriage and asking me what I thought." I replied.
" What you weren't in first class! How could you insolent father send you anywhere in less that first class." she wailed.
" No mom it wasn't dads idea I wanted to go in coach" I defended.
"well honey lets not ruin the day by talking about my mangy ex. Beth are those your delicious rolls I smell?"
"Yes Mrs. Lisa they are would you like some?" Beth asked politely." Yes I would."she replied snottily." Miss Anne would you like some I could put that special........." ------"beth I think I should be the one to ask my daughter if she is hungry." my mom almost shouted. " yes Mrs. Lisa sorry Mrs. Lisa."
" Now honey would you like Beth to get you some rolls and put some of that special jelly on that you like" she asked kindly. "Yes Please I replied."
As Beth went to go get some rolls there was a knock on the door. When my step dad opened the door there stood the hottest guy I had ever seen.He was dressed in a white shirt that was clinging to his muscles, and a black tie.
He could pull of this look off without looking to dressed up or to casual.
His hair was in his face but even so I could see sparkling blue eyes through his hair.
His hair was jet black and fell in his face.
I could see my stepdad talking to him and inviting him in.
I could see my mom walking over to talk to him.
I could see all this stuff but all I could do was stand there with my mouth open.
I could feel my self doing this but my body wouldn’t let me do different.
Thank God for Beth she came out in time to elbow me back into reality.
I quickly closed my mouth, so he couldn’t see me gawking at him.
As he walked in to the house I could see his muscles ripple as he walked.
He was clearly in good shape and totally fine.
“ Lisa dear I would like you to meet Alex he is my partners son who is going to be taking over when his father passes. Let hope thats not to soon. I herd he was getting better. He might be out of the hospital by November(its now February) isn't that right?” my step dad kept rambling on.
I got up the courage and walked over to Alex “ Hi my names............”
“ Oh her names Anne and mines Lisa. So have you worked for your father long?” she asked seductively.”
OH MY GOD!!!!!He just walked in the door and she already flirting with him.
He’s like 18 isn’t that illegal.
And Jack is standing right there watching her, acting totally oblivious like always.
It makes me sick!
I stormed out of there and ran to my room to unpack.
As I was sitting there getting ready to unpack and listening to -Vanessa Carlton- I hear a knock at my door.
I walked over to open my door I wonder who that could be.
