Trashed and Scattered

First Meetings

The next day was gonna be really intersting. I knew that Jeremy was excited, he loved their music and everything. We got packed up and everything. We told our mom that we were going on a roadtrip. I gave Justin a quick kiss on the lips and me and Jeremy left.

The many hours went by quickly, but they were silent. We listen to Avenged Sevenfold's music, and I was very suprised. They were very talented. I was getting more nervous and we approached the unfamilar town of Huntington Beach. I guess Jeremy noticed.

"You alright?" He asked. I quickly gulped and nodded.

"Just nervous....oh and you can't act all fan-girl, or this dude won't give me information to where my dad is at...got it?" Jeremy chuckled at that and nodded.

"Sure thing sis" He playfully punched my arm.

We pulled up to the expensive house. I took a deep breath and grabbed the sheet of paper with this guys address on them, that way I could write down my dad's on the other side. My and Jeremy got out of the car and walked up to the door. I took a deep breath and nervously knocked on the door. I saw a figure approaching it and open the door.

The was a pretty attractive guy I would say. He was sort of tall. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. His hair was kinda spiked. He was in a Guns N Roses tee and had jeans on.

"Um....How may I help you?" He asked confused.

"Um...Do you know a Zachary James Baker?" I asked

Well of course he does

"Uh...yeah....what brings you to see him?" I gave him a look of hope.

"It's a long story." I said, trying not to cry.

"Wait...you're not knocked up with his kid are you?" Jeremy couldn't help but roll on the floor laughing, as my eyes widened.

"Um...no sir. It's a....different situation." I said trying to find the right words.

"Different? Hmmm. You're not just trying to find him so you can go all fan-girl on him?" I let out a shaky breath as I tried to hold back the tears.

"No...I know he has a band, or something, but I just found that out yesterday. Just....it's really important." This Brian dude looked at me weird as I let a tear fall down my face. Jeremy looked at me concerned. He started to rub my back soothingly. Brian let out a sigh.

"He lives about 5 minutes from here." Brian grabbed my piece of paper and written down the directions. I smiled a little.

"Thanks...I really appreciate it." Brian nodded and me and Jeremy headed out to his house. I just sat there shaking a little, wondering if he'll believe me. He had to. I even brought along the yearbook, which had a picture of them in the back together.

"You ready?" Jeremy asked. I nodded my head and let out a breath. Me and Jeremy got out of the car and headed to the front door. I clicked the doorbell and waited nervously. It seemed like forever, but I saw a figure appear, but it wasn't him. My heart sank.

"Um...Is Zachary James Baker here?" I asked nervous, but polite as I could. She just looked dumbstruck at me.

"What brings you here?" She said in a rude voice. That's when he stepped behind her, placing his hands behind her waist. If only he knew.

"Um...hi.." He spoke confused. I gulped as I looked closer at him. I wanted to touch his face and cry into his ches, but I had to be stronger than that. I looked at Jeremy, pleading.

"Um...Hi...can I talk to you for a bit?" I asked with a shaky voice. He looked at me confused, and the girl looked pissed at me. What did I ever do to her?

"Uh...sure..." He said pulling the girl to the side, letting me and Jeremy come in. I gulped, holding back tears.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked. Mom was right, he never knew about me. I let out another breath.

"Uh...yeah...s-sorta." I said.

"Sort of?" He asked confused, taking a seat on his couch. I looked at Jeremy and mouthed "help".

"Um....I'm Jeremy and this is Kaylee. I'm Kaylee's brother...She was adopted by my parents when she was 2 weeks old, years before I was born. Uh, my dad passed away when I was a couple of days old." Jeremy stated, looking down at his shoes.

"And..." I started, gulping once again.

"My mom died, when I was two weeks old. I never knew my dad was alive, until yesterday. I was looking through books and stuff in my room and found a letter from my mom. It stated that my dad didn't know that I exsisted. She did in fact give me a hint though. It was HB High Z Baker 1996. I decided to look through this yearbook and found your picture. I googled you and such. I'm sorry if this ruins your life. My mother's name was Racheal May Scott. Sound familar?" I asked. His face was in utter shocked and his "girl" gave me a look of hatred.

"Sorry..." I said barely above a whisper as I finally let the tears flow. Something I didn't expect happen. Zacky sat by me and pulled me to his chest, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me to his chest. I cried the hardest I ever have before. Happy and Sad tears.

"Are you gonna actually believe her Zacky?" The girl said.

"Gena...shut it. I did have a relationship with her mom, so it's a possibility." Zacky spat.

"Ugh!!" Gena yelled, stomping out of the house. Thank God.

"Wow....How old are you?" Zacky asked.

"Eighteen. Oh, and I'm engaged." I said flashing my ring. Zacky's eyes went wide.

"Wow..." He breathed out.

"I'm sorry if this is too much. If you need a DNA test, I don't mind. I just. I need you." I said sort of desperately.

"No...I believe you...wow. Can I see the yearbook?" He asked interstead.

"Uh...yeah." I said handing it over to him. We looked at it together, smiling at pictures of him and my mom.

"Can you tell me about mom?" I asked. Zacky Dad, to which he smiled.

"Your mother was so beautiful. Just like you. She was my first love. I'm suprised she never told me about you." He smiled.

"She was scared....Young and scared. Plus, she was sick and, and I don't know." I said. Zacky smiled.

"Well....I'm shocked, but glad that you're here." He said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." He smiled at me.
