He's a Senior and I'm the Freaky Sophomore

The lights turned on reviling the person who grabbed me.
It was a person who I never meet before.
“Wow, your eyes are really freaky” she said, her voice sounded familiar.
“Do I know you?”
“No,” she snapped. “I’m Cloey, Josh’s ex girlfriend”
“Oh yeah, I remember you, now, but why do you have me in a closet?”
“Because you’re the reason why Josh broke up with me. So, I’m going out with his friend to make hike jealous and have him come back to me, but he’s dating you now” she said ‘you’ with so much hate it scared me.
“Why are you telling me this?”
“Because I want you to break up with Josh”
I laughed. “Why would I do that?”
“Because I said so” she said putting her hands on her hips.
“Well, I’ll pass up the offer. I’m very happy with Josh”
Cloey was about to say something but I cut her off.
“It was nice talking to you” I walked out of the closet and went back to my class.
Josh walked me to my classes like always, we continued to get looks. In my classes I realized people were looking at me which I thought was weird, since they normally act like I’m not there.
In my class before lunch I finished all my work really so I decided to got to the bathroom.
I always go to the bathroom when I finish my work really, but in this case I really had to go.
On my way back form the bathroom, someone grabbed me and pulled me into the closet, again.
The person turned on the light...
It was Matt?
He stared at me, he’s always doing that. “Can I help you?” I asked.
“Yeah, I want to talk to you”
“In a closet?”
“Well…um, yeah”
“Why are you suddenly talking to me?”
“Um…well, you’re dating my best friend, so I think I should get to know you”
I raised an eyebrow at him. “Okay, what did you want to talk about?”
“Um…well, stuff”
“Stuff?”
“Stuff”
“Okay, well Matt, I got to go to my class”
“Okay, talk you to later”
I nodded my head and left the closet.

Josh and I were walking to the lunch room hand in hand.
“I want you to meet my friends today”
“Umm…”
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to”
“Sure” I said but it sounded more like a question.
“Really?” he smiled down at me.
“Yeah, how bad can it be?” I smiled back.
“You’re awesome” he gave me a kiss then lead me into the lunch room.
Once we entered everyone look at us. It felt like the first day of school again.
Josh seemed to notice my discomfort because he squeezed my hand for comfort.
“Why don’t you just take a picture it will last longer,” he snapped at them.
Everyone went back to what they were doing sneaking glances at us.
Josh led me over to his table of friends.
They were laughing and talking, but once we got there they became silent.
“Hey guys” Josh said wrapping his arm around my waist. “This is Violet, Violet these are my friends. You already meet Matt, but there’s Mike, Luke, Alex and Jerry. There are also Cloey, Maya, Susan, and Demi,” Josh pointed to each person as he said their name.
They smiled at me as Josh and I sat down.
“So you’re the person Josh keeps on talking about?” Mike said. “It’s nice to finally meet you” he said extending his hand for me to shake it.
“Same” I smiled as I shook his hand.
“But seriously, Josh never shuts up about you” Alex said.
I smiled. “I’ll be right back”
They nodded their heads as I got up form my seat.
I walked to my regular lunch line to get my lunch.

Josh’s Point Of View

“So, what do you think about Violet?” I asked them once she left.
“She’s nice, I like her” Demi said
“Same,” the boys agreed.
“She can stay” Maya said as Susan nodded her head.
“Thanks guys” They smiled at me.

Violet’s Point Of View

I walked back to the table and smiled at everyone.
“Wow,” Demi said as she looked at me eyes.
“Your eyes are really weird, but really pretty”
“Yeah, it’s like they’re glowing” Jerry added.
“But they are really pretty” Demi added.
“Thanks”
“Hey, Violet are you going to the game?” Mike asked.
“Yeah, of course, wouldn’t miss it”
Josh put his arm around my shoulders. “Good I need you there”
During lunch we made small talk and laughed.
It felt really weird to have a group of friends to hang out with, but I enjoyed it.

Josh walked to my locker with his arm around my waist.
“I don’t have practice today, so I can drive you home.”
“Lucy won’t be happy”
“Can I meet her?”
“Yeah, come on” I closed my locker.
I wrapped my arms around Josh and lead him to my bus.
“Hey Lucy” I said getting on the bus.
“Hey, Vi, what’s up?”
“Josh wants to meet you”
“Really?”
“Yeah” Josh said from behind me.
“Josh, it’s nice to finally meet you”
“Likewise”
“I’m guessing your going to steal her away form me?”
“Yeah, sorry”
“It’s fine, you kids have fun”
“Bye” Josh and I said together.
We walked off the bus and to Josh’s car hand in hand.
He drove me home and we went inside.
“Where are your parents?”
“My dad working late and my mom has a fashion show in California”
“Cool”
“Yup, so what do you want to do?”
“How about a movie?”
“Yeah” I said walking over to the shelf where we keep all the DVDs. I pulled out Scary Movie 4 and popped it in.
We coddled up next to each other as we watched it.
Finally it was game time. Josh drove me to school.
He kissed me before he went to the locker room with Mike

The game was amazing we won 48 to 5, the best game they ever played.
I stood out side in the parking lot waiting for Josh to come out.
He finally came out with Mike and Matt.
Cloey and Maya walked up to them. Mike wrapped his arm around Cloey’s waist as Matt did the same to Maya.
“Hey beautiful” Josh said wrapping his arms around my waits.
“Hey” I said hugging him around his waist.
“Good game guys” I said looking back at them.
“Yeah, it was a really good game” Maya agreed.
“Of course it was, Violet was there” Cloey said glaring at me.
I ignored her glare and looked up at Josh, who was smiling down on me.
He leaned down and kissed my lips quickly.
“Aw” Maya said.
“Yo, you guys coming to my after party?” Mike asked.
“Yeah” everyone but Josh and I said
“Not tonight boys, I’m going to hang out with my special lady” he said hugging me.
“Aw, thanks, but you can go” I hugged him back.
“Nah, I’m staying with you”
I smiled. “Fine”
“Alright, bye guys” Mike said walking away.
“Bye” we called after them.
“They are so cute” I heard Maya squeal as she walked away.
“Next time you’re going” I said.
“No, I’m not”
“Yes, you are”
“Fine,” he said kissing my cheek.
“Do you want to go to dinner?” he asked opening the door for me.
“Yeah”
“Good,” he smiled at me as he closed the door.
He drove us to a small restaurant near by the school.
We eat our dinner while we chatted about random things.
After dinner we went to my house and had a movie marathon, until we fell asleep.

It’s been a full mouth since Josh and I stared dating.
The girls around school glare at me including Cloey. She sends me threatening letters telling me to break up with Josh.
I ignore them and don’t let her get to me.
At lunch I sit with Josh and his friends or Josh and I would sit by ourselves.
My parents have grown very fond of Josh. They invite him over for dinner every now and then.

It’s currently Saturday and Josh is going to pick me up, so we can go to the school’s fundraiser.
The football team is going to their last game in two weeks. The fundraiser is to help them get there and back.
Since we will be washing cars, I was wearing shorts and a tank top over my bikini top. Over my tank top I had an open button up shirt.
I put a change of clothes in my mini backpack.
The door bell rang and my mom answered it.
“Josh, hi honey, how are you?”
“I’m good Mrs. Meyer, yourself?”
“I’m good, thanks. Violet will be down in shortly”
“Hey” I said coming downstairs.
“Hey” he said as I slipped on my flip flogs.
“Ready?”
“Yeah, by mom”
“Bye, have fun” she called from the kitchen.
Josh and I left the house and hopped in his car.
At school the football team, cheerleaders, the band members, and other volunteers were there already.
Everyone was in shorts and tank tops. Some of the girls were in there swimsuits and some of the guys were topless.
Josh and I put our stuff under a near by tree.
Josh took off his shirt, revealing his tanned and very toned body.
I stared at him in awe. “Wow” I muttered.
He smiled. “What?”
“Nothing” I managed to say.
“Sure” he said hugging the back of me. “You ready to wash some cars?”
“Yeah, let’s go. Lucy and her son might stop by”
“Cool. Doesn’t her son have purple eyes too?”
“Yeah”
We walked over to Mike, Cloey, Maya, and Matt, who were currently washing two cars.
I joined the girls and Josh joined the boys.
I put my hair in a ponytail and grabbed a sponge.
The girls and I talked as we washed the cars that came to us.
We were done our fourth car when the boys sprayed us with the hose.
I looked at them in shock as the girls screamed.
They laughed and high fived each other.
The girls and I each took a bucket full of water and threw the water at them.
They continued to laugh as they ran there fingers threw there wet hair and went back to work.
Since both of my shirts were wet I was forced to only be in my bikini top.
After I changed I went back to work.
I felt eyes on me has I did so. I looked to see if any one was looking at me.
Josh was along with Matt.
Matt looked away as soon as he realized I saw looking at him.
I looked at Josh and watched him check me out.
“What?” I asked.
“Nothing”
I smiled. “Then, stop looking at me”
“Well,” he said defensively. “What kind on a world do we live in where a man can’t check out his girlfriend?”
I laughed and finished the car that we were washing.
The next car pulled up and the window rolled down, revealing a very cute guy with purple eyes.
I smiled. “You must be Lucy’s son”
He smiled. “That I am. You must be Violet”
I nodded my head. “Nice to meet you” I shook his hand.
“Same” he said shook his hand as Lucy got out of the car.
“Violet, Josh, hi. This is my son Ken”
“Hey,” Josh and I said as he shook Ken’s hand.
“These are our friends, Mike, Matt, Cloey, and Maya” I said pointing to each of them. “And this is my bus driver Lucy and her son, Ken”
“Nice to meet you” everyone said to one another.
“I just realized that you have purple eyes” Maya said.
Ken chuckled. “Yes I do”
Everyone was in awe over his eyes.
I laughed silently as I washed Lucy’s car.
“So, Violet, what grade are you in?” asked Ken as he walked toward me.
“Tenth. What about you? I heard you’re in college”
“Yeah, this is my last year.”
“Nice”
“Yeah, I was around your age when I first got friends”
“Really?”
“Yeah”
“Wow” I laughed.
I talked to Ken and Lucy as until their car was washed and dry.
I hugged them bye and went back to work.
The girls and I took a lunch break and sat under a tree.
“Are those girls checking out Matt?” Maya asked after a while of talking.
“Yeah” Coley said.
“I’ll be right back” she got up and made her way over to Matt. She crashed her lips into his and he kissed back.
She smiled sweetly at him and walked away. She made her way over to the girls who were checking out Matt. “Matt is my man, so stop drooling over him” she hissed harshly.
She sat next to me. “Back”

Josh and I were currently at the beach watching the waves.
We were lying on the sand having a thumb war.
“Why do you keep on winning?” I asked.
“Because, I’m awesome, babe”
“Sure you are” I said sarcastically.
He laughed and pulled me on his lap and crashed his lips on mine. I kissed back instantly and pulled him in closer to me. I opened my mouth slightly letting him in. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling my closer to him.
We broke away from each other and smiled.
“My family wants to meet you” he said.
“Okay, when?”
“Next Friday, but it’s my whole family. They have heard so much about you”
“Okay, sounds like fun”
“You should know, my family is big and loud”
I nodded my head.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, do they know about my eyes?”
“Yeah, that’s part of the reason they want to meet you”
I laughed. “Okay”
“You’re awesome” he said. He kissed me again. “Let’s go for the swim”
“Okay” I said as I got off his lap.
We took off our clothes, so we were in our swim suites, and ran into the water.
After hours of splashing around, Josh dropped me home.
I had dinner with my mom, since my dad was at work.
I told her about me meeting Josh’s family; she thought it was a great idea.
After dinner I took a shower and went to bed. Josh texted me good night and I texted him back.

It was Monday morning and the rain was falling.
I ate my breakfast and got dressed.
Josh picked me up and drove me to school.
We walked to my locker with his arm around my waist. We walked to my class and kissed good bye.
The day went by quickly and normally.
I was in my last class of the day and I was bored out of my mine. I already knew the lesson.
I asked to go the bathroom and left the classroom.
On my way down the hallway I was pulled into a closet.
The person turned on the light.
It was Matt.
He stared at me. I was him gaze go down to my lips and stay there.
I raised an eyebrow at him.
He ran his fingers through my hair and he slid his hand down to the back of my neck.
He leaned down and kissed me softly.
I was shocked.
But I liked it.
He quickly pulled away and left the closet.
