*~A Month Later~*
All us girls were missing our guys terribly. We couldn’t really call, because the time differences were night and day. It was nice to have some girl time though. There were nights though when one would catch another staring into space.
I woke up one morning with Jordan laying on my butt. She came to me when a storm came in. My stomach was upset. I moved Jordan just enough so I could get up. I went to the bathroom and emptied out last night’s pizza. I got dressed and went to wake Jordan. She groaned.
“Sweetie, wanna go to your own bed?”
“No.”
“Mommy’s gotta go somewhere, you wanna come with?”
“No.”
“Wanna go play with Ana? She’s up.”
“Ok.”
I carried her downstairs to where Ana was watching TV.
“Will you watch her? I wanna run out for a bit and I think she’s still tired.”
“No problem. Come here, kiddo.”
“Thanks, Ana.”
I drove twenty minutes to a familiar building. I went in, signed in, and waited.
“Mrs. Way? The doctor will see you now.”
I nodded and went to his office. He walked in moments later.
“Hi Dr. Corbin.”
“Hello, Mrs. Way. It’s been a while. How’ve you been?”
“Great. We’re all doing great.”
“What are we in for?”
“Same as before.”
Forty minutes later, I’m waiting, sitting in a chair.
“Sorry for the delay.” He walked in. “Congratulations, Lisa. You’re pregnant.”
I smiled.
“You know the drill right? Doctor’s appointments, and classes. I’d
say you’re a month in.”
“Yeah.”
“Anything else?”
“Nope.”
“Ok. I’ll set up your appointments and call you soon.”
“Thanks, Doctor.”
I headed home and walked in. Everyone was up and about. I sent Gerard a text message.
Want another baby?

I went to Dr. today. I’m pregnant.
Then my phone rang.
