Joey

Intro

“Come on Joey. I don’t want to!” 17-year-old Georgia “Gia” Carter smacked her best friend as they sat in his room, her on the bed, him on the floor below her.

“Seriously Gee, I’m not going to let you say no.” Joey said resting his chin on her knee. “You know you want to.”

She shook her head and smiled. “No way! Not gonna happen! You know this is peer pressure, right?”

He nodded with a guilty, evil smile on his face. “Oh trust me I can make it worse than this.”

She laughed and shoved his head off of her knee. “You are very odd, you know that?”

“No, you’re the odd one!” He laughed and tackled her on the bed.

Then the door flew open and dean walked in. “You’re both odd. The oddest people in the world actually. Now come on dinner’s ready.” He turned to walk out, but then he stopped. “And if you don’t stop that, people are going to think you two are dating.”

Then he left the two teenagers there alone. When they finally stood up, he pulled her close and kissed her. They had to laugh at his dad for almost guessing their secret. Finally they pulled apart and made their way down the stairs to the kitchen for dinner.
