When Life Throws You a Curve of Reality
THE UNEXPECTED
One night Christy went on the computer with her friend Emily. Emily was popular and had many friends, she was very social and boy crazy. Therefore, Emily grabbed the computer from Christy’s hands and started talking to her friends. Then, out of nowhere, Emily said, “Hey I don’t know this guy but he acts like he needs someone to talk to. Talk to him for me?” Christy hesitated then said, “Yeah, no problem.” She said hello and within seconds the guy said, “Hey! I need to talk to you!” She said, “Ok, what’s up?” the guy hesitated then began with, “I need your help, I’m in big trouble!” Christy didn’t know what to think, she didn’t even know this guy. “What’s the problem?” she asked, “How are you in trouble?” The guy hesitated for a moment then said, “Who is this, is this Britney?” Britney, what is he talking about? Christy thought to herself. “No, my name’s Christy. Who are you?” The guy then said “Zac. You mean this whole time I’ve talking to you, thinking you were Britney?” Christy said, “Yeah” After a long pause she said, “Why are you in trouble?” He then told her the whole story, leaving her quite dumbfounded.
