When Somebody Loved Me

“Yeah, it was pretty crazy.” I laughed, nodding.

We were on the couch next to each other, our fingers laced together, just talking and catching up.

Nick chuckled. “I can’t believe she did that.”

“I know, right?! No one expected it!” I giggled.

He sighed, brushing a stray piece of hair behind my ear, which I immediately shook my head so it wasn’t behind my ear anymore, causing him to laugh. “What was that?”

“I don’t like my hair behind my ear.” I explained, blushing.

“You always used to wear your hair behind your ears though.”

“Not anymore.” I shrugged, still blushing.

He chuckled. “You blush so easily.”

That caused me to blush even more. “Yeah, yeah. So I’ve been told.”



There was a few minutes of silence, just us looking at each other.

“I really missed you, Nick.” I whispered.

“I missed you, too, Marley. So much.” He said quietly back, leaning in to give me a kiss.

“Brother in the room!” Joe yelled, just as Nick was a centimeter apart.

Nick groaned, pulling back. “Thanks, Joe.”

“Anytime.” Joe grinned widely, sitting next to me on the couch. “So I say we watch a movie.”

“That depends. What movie?” I asked.

He shrugged. “Dr. Horrible?”

“YES!” I yelled, running to go get the movie.

I burst out laughing at something in the movie. "Oh my God...I love this movie!"

Joe and Nick laughed along. "Us too."

The movie ended soon after, and Joe left to go take a nap.

"Hey, wait a minute, where's Kevin?" I asked, realizing he wasn't there.

"Your bus actually. He's hanging out with your band." Nick replied matter-of-factly.

I nodded. "Oh."

"Mhm." He smirked.



"Niiiiiick!" I yelled.

He walked in and burst out laughing.

I blushed. "Shut up! I was bored! But it won't come off!"

He chuckled, walking towards me. “Did you try soap and water?”

“Nooooo….” I said sarcastically, looking at the face on my stomach that I colored with my different colors of eyeliner. “Let me do one on you!” I grinned.

“No.” He said, wide-eyed.

“Pleaseeee?” I asked with a puppy dog face. “Joe’s asleep anyways!”

He groaned. “Fine….”

“YES!”



I burst out laughing, looking at my final product.

He looked down and started laughing. “Why’d you give it a mustache?”

“’Cause it’s on your stomach! You’re a guy! Guys have mustaches!”

“So what’d you give yours…?”

“Really long eyelashes.” I smiled, looking at my stomach. I gasped, getting an idea. “Oh my gosh!”

“What?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

“I have an idea!” I smiled, pushing him on the couch. I got out the eyeliner and he went wide-eyed, shaking his head quickly.

“No! No! No!”

“Please?!” I asked, giving him another puppy dog face.

He stared at me for a few minutes, not giving up, then sighed.

He groaned. “I hate when you do that.”

“Thanks, Nicky”! I smiled, starting to put eyeliner on him.

After a few minutes of him struggling, and me trying to get him to hold still, I was finished.

I started laughing, and he groaned.

“Now, I get to do you.” He smiled, taking the eyeliner.

I went wide-eyed. “No way!”

“Nope! I am!” He said, already starting.

I groaned, laughing. “This is going to be interesting.”



“Okay, I’m done!” He grinned, then burst out laughing.

I ran to get the mirror, and started laughing. “Hey! I don’t look half bad!”

After an endless amount of pictures and goofing off, we decided to clean it all off, still laughing about it.

“No one sees those pictures except me and you.” Nick smirked before kissing me.

“Trust me, I know.” I laughed.
