The Life I Never Knew I Had

It was wet, dark and cold out side.
By the steady rhythmical rocking of the horse and buggy, I know we were going slowly. There’s no noise around me, so I must be out of town.
I can hear the voices of men talking in front. That’s all I knew.
I don’t know is where I am, what I’m doing here, what’s going to happen to me. How long has it been or who were the men in front of the buggy.
I thought about my family back home, I missed them. I didn’t know if I would see them again.
Just then the buggy came to a stop. I figured it was just another pit stop. I moved form one side to the other in the very cramped space in the back of the buggy.
Just then the back of the buggy opened.
