"Wanna go out sometime?" he askes me.
"I would but im busy.." i tell him. A little worried.
"for the rest of your life?" he askes with a slurr..
I know hes drunk or high so i walk away..
"HEY!" he yells grabbing me and pulling me back..
Thats when a guy comes out of nowhere and punches him.
I slump to the floor with tears rolling down my cheeks..
"Are you okay?" Jthe guy asks me..
"Y-yeah i-i-i guess soo." i said in between sobs.
"What happened?" he asked..
"He gets violent sometimes.. exspecially when he drinks" i tell him.
Putting my hand over my mouth. not believing i just told him that..
"Oops. i shouldnt have said that" i tell him.
" Im Josh." he said sticking his hand out for me to shake.
"Im Michelle. " i said taking his hand..
"Well a beautiful girl shouldnt be stuck with a guy like that. You hungry?"
"Uhmmm... Yeah.. Sure.. What do you have in mind?" i ask him smiling.
"Welll i was thinking maybe you could pick the place. im new here" he told me shyly.
I got up off the ground. Looked around. Then looked at him..
He was really cute. A little bit of muscle with beautiful eyes..
I just stared..Thats when i heard someone clear there throat..
I focused and it was Joshua. He was smiling.
"Sorry..Just lost focus.." i said turning away..
"Its okay.. so where to?" He asked taking my hand and leading me to where my car was parked..
"Hmm.. how about..... IHop? Best place to get rid of the blues" i told him smiling..
"Really? Then onward to Ihop.." he said opening the driverside door for me..
I just couldnt stop smiling.. he is such a gentleman..
"You look familiar." he said looking at me..
"Really? i thought the same about you but i dont know from where." i said blushing slightly..
"you remind me of a girl i used to write to." he said looking out the front window..
"Hmmm.. odd" i said thinking to myslef..
"Whats odd?" he asked..
"Thats who you remind me of too.. " i said putting a little speed into the drive..
The rest of the drive there was really akward.. we would talk but only for short time periods...
