Nothing Else Matters

The two talked for what seemed like a eternity. Night or day they met under that tree every chance they could get. One day when the girl went looking for her friend she found him in a very different state. Head held low his blonde hair like a golden river shinning bright even in the dim lighting of the canopy and its lush branches. She stopped suddenly looking at him
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"I would like very much to talk to you...out by the fields..." Adam replied his head still lowered averting his eyes from hers.
He got up motioning for her to follow him and started walking.Their walk was silent all around them the only sound that could be heard was the faint whispering of the forrest. The animals gossiping togther hoping from tree to tree. Their dirt path suddenly opened out to a small tree less grassy field. The field seemed to spread out in a almost perfect circle. The grass was tall and soft brushing their feet as they passed through it. Adam led Eve to the middle of the clearing taking both of her hands suddenly he turned to her
"We have been talking a lot. And umm I aint very good with umm putting words togther but I wanted you here to tell you that I l-..I really lo-...I lo lo lo"
"Yes Adam?" she said suddenly interrupting him looking at him a bit quizically
"Nothing I just wanted to let you know I like ya a lot a real lot...." he said and stood there his face red as fire and just as hot.
"Well I like you too Adam. Your a really good friend. I have to go but ill see you tommarow ok?" She smiled and said then kissed him on the cheeck and turned on her way home
