Who's Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?

"How do you know where to find this place?"
I shrugged and laid on my back in the slightly damp grass, Embry laid next to me.
"What were you and Jake yelling about?" I asked, as I watched the dark clouds.
He chuckled like it was some funny joke, "You actually"
"Really why?"
It was silent for a few minutes, I didn't mind.
"Jacob doesn't want me to get to close to you" he stated nervously.
"Why? he doesn't own me, I can do whatever the hell I want"
"He sometimes thinks he does own you"
I sat up, anger in my blue eyes. Was he fucking kidding me!
Embry sat up too, cupping my face. "He is worried about loosing you, I can see why"
NO! I hadn't decided what I wanted, I still had to think.
He leaned closer to me, my mind went blank, nothing was there.
We were so close, I couldn't stop, I had to choose now.
That's when it hit me, the smell that sent me to my feet instantly.
Embry was also on his feet, his teeth bared at the trees.
Danger was close, my skin tingled as the wind blew through the meadow, whipping my hair around.
Red eyes followed my every move, I was her prey.
She stepped out of the shadows, her eyes never leaving mine, red glaring at blue.
Embry pulled me behind him, like that's really gonna stop her, we needed the whole pack.
She laughed as if she read my thoughts, her voice sounded like bells.
"Little pup, do you think you can stop me?"
"Want to find out?" he snapped, his body trembling furiously.
I slowly stepped back away from him, not wanting to get hurt.
"Oh, I do wish I could but I am not in the mood today"
She flashed her sharp teeth at him, sending me into protective mode.
I got ready to change, putting another few steps back away so I didn't hurt him.
"Why not? you afraid?" Embry edged the leech on, what in the hell was he thinking?
The leech snarled, but still kept her calm stance.
I changed into my wolf form, Embry following suit.
Growling, I took a step towards her, I knew her, she was one of the three vampires I was dreaming of.

"Taylor, my my aren't you different from the others"
She took in my white fur, and blue eyes, not normal for wolves.
My teeth snapped at her, Embry stood next to me.

"Stay back, the packs coming"
"No, you are not doing this alone Embry so shut up"

"Ah, well as much as I would love to continue to have this little chat, I must be on my way"
The bloodsucker took a step back, making me jump towards her.
"Your mother will just love to know you alive"
then she turned and ran into the thick trees, I followed her, letting my feet guide me.

"Taylor, get back here!"
"No, She is going to die"

My feet picked up speed, I ran into a clearing, the rocky cliff's.
The leech was no where to be seen, she had to be here.
Then I felt myself tumble over the edge of the cliff, my first instinct was to grab something.
My nails dug into the rock, it hurt so badly I almost cried out in pain.
Something heavy was on my back, trying to make me fall.
turning my head, the leech had her teeth bared, slowly going towards my neck.
Fear kicked into overdrive, I started slipping, my nails dug harder into the rocky side.
I kicked the parasite in the stomach, then pulled myself up over the edge.
A snarl came from behind me, I tuned just in time to see the blond haired leech launch at me.
We rolled to the edge of the forest, I sunk my teeth into her cold flesh.
She let out a shriek as she jumped back, her blood tasted horrible in my mouth.
making me gag, but I stood up and attacked her again.
Blood spurted from her neck, I launched myself back at her neck and torn it away.
She was dead by the time my pack showed up, but I felt dizzy.
I slowly stepped back from the dead leech, my head spinning horribly.
I felt myself change from wolf to human, I froze.
I tried to change back, but nothing happened, no fur, no ears.
My fear made my vision go in and out, I hoped I was dying, it would be less painful.
I closed my eyes, letting darkness consume me.
