The first book of the series takes place while Avenged Sevenfold is on hiatus from touring.
While on hiatus, they dabble in other endevors.
M. Shadows & his partner Synyster Gates own "The Sidewinder Casino & Hotel" in Vegas. Shadows also owns a brothel. Each member of the band has a piece of the pie so to speak, but only two call the actual shots.
Marco Montes owns "The Makers Marc" a rival casino, but it isnt just the big spenders that they are competing for.
Izzy was branded. On her right shoulder sits a small letter "M" and the one who gave it to her claimed her as his own, while she owes a huge debt to another.
What's to come...Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and of course drama at every turn and a whole lot of "I never saw that coming" So, buckle up...this is sure to be a bumpy ride.
