The main character is out shopping with her best friend, Eddy, and his partner Scott. She had gotten out of a relationship were a guy she really liked cheated on her. She knew better, but dated him anyway. Today was the first time that she went out.

That day was also Ed and Scotts' anniversary. Feeling bad for them looking after her, she sends them to a hotel were they'll get massages and more.

It's also convenient for her to run into her cheating ex. But enough time had passed that she's willing to talk to him. It's not much, but it's a start.
