I Want a Taste of Your Medicine
Blush
Bathing suits, bathing suits, why did I have to have so many of them? And since when did I start to care about what I looked like in front of the guys. I was embarrassed, that's all and nothing more.
I finally decided on a white, pink and green bathing suit from Hollister because I felt like it complimented my skin and a white, pink, and blue dress for a cover up until we actually went swimming. I knew it wouldn't go well but the easiest flip flops to slip off when needed were the ones I had been wearing, so I just went with those for the shoes.
We were going on the boat, minus the sea doing and wake boarding, and we were obviously going to be swimming. I didn't do anything with my hair and I made sure all of the makeup I was wearing was waterproof, although I didn't wear much of it.
I walked downstairs and to the doorway and waited for the guys to arrive. The first guy to arrive was Max, I blushed a little bit and smiled, hoping that he hadn't noticed. Max and I had been spending a lot of time together lately and I liked wasting my time with him.
"Hey," I said slipping on my sandals. He nodded and then the rest of the guys walked down stairs and to the door.
"Let's go!" Adam shouted and Marshall grabbed me and pushed me out the door with the rest of them.
We all ran down to the dock and hopped in the speed boat this time and waited for Adam to untie it. I could already feel the warmth of the sun heating my skin. I could spend forever in Australia.
"Hold on tight, girl," Adam said to me as he started up the motor. I smiled and then realized how much he meant that when we started to zoom across the water at a very fast speed. I could feel the wind blowing my hair back and I loved it.
I looked over at Max who was looking at me with a smile. The boat was pretty big for a speed boat and I scooted over a bit in my seat so that I was beside him.
"Isn't this amazing!" I yelled over the noisy wind.
"You don't have a lot of experience when it comes to water activities do you?" Max said laughing and pushing his hair back with his hand.
"Not really," I said shrugging. Adam had started to slow down a bit and they all started talking. Max and I, however were in our own conversation. "When do you guys surf?" It hadn't really occurred to me that they hadn't surfed once since Marshall had come back.
"We're actually going to be going tomorrow, and then we're having a competition at the end of the summer, the day before you leave. We'll be partying that night so you better be ready because it's going to be wild," He said, looking out at the water. The boat had completely stopped now and the guys were jumping in the water. Max and I stayed in the boat for a bit.
"Well when you guys win I'm going to show you off to the whole beach," I said, shoving him a little bit. I took off my dress and flip flops awkwardly and then pushed Max into the water with me. His sandals were already off and like always all the guys didn't wear shirts and only wore their trunks, so it didn't matter.
"Are we going to keep having to replay how this ends over and over again?" Max said dunking my head in the water. All the guys started tackling each other and me for that matter, and it seemed like it was the world against all of us and I liked that feeling.
