Can You Find Me?

Here I am, at a club…
Don’t take me wrong, I like to party and dance but I’m really sad today.
The guy I’m undoubtly, madly, head-over-heels in love with is my brothers best friend!
That’s what I realised a few days ago, and the fact that he’s dancing very close to a girl on the dance floor doesn’t help at all.
-‘’Sigh~..’’ I sighed.
-‘’What’s wrong Kyra? You seem to be so sad these days..’’ my brother asked me.
-‘’It’s nothing. I’m just tired..’’ I lied.
-‘’Both of us know that’s a lie. So tell me what’s wrong.’’ he argued.
I stared at him wondering if I should tell him.
Meanwhile I was thinking, someone was sneaking up on me.
-‘’Fine!’’ I said annoyed that I caved in to my brother, What!? He was giving me the lost puppy dog eyes... Those are evil, I promise!!
-‘’Yes, now tell me’’. he said
-‘’I’m inlovewithAaron’’ I said it so fast he didn’t hear me... But I’m nervous.. Hello!! It’s my brothers best friend I’m in love with..
-‘’What? Repeat it, but slower this time." he said.
-‘’Sigh~.. I’m in love with Aaron..." I said quietly, but he heard me.
-‘’WHAT!?’’ he shouted. ‘’How can you love him!?’’
-‘’Uh, I’m feeling a bit mad here. It’s not as if I’m totally un-lovable’’ Aaron said annoyed with his arms crossed over his chest.
*Oh no. He heard me. It’s over!!* I ran away thinking that. I ran away from the club, past Calebs car and straight to my favourite park. I sat down leaning against a tree crying my eyes out.
-‘’How stupid can I be!?’’ I cried.

After a while I felt arms around me. But I didn’t dare look up. I just cried into his chest.
-‘’Kyra, please don’t cry. It hurts so much seeing you cry.’’ Aaron begged me.
I didn’t do anything just kept on crying.
-‘’Please. I.. I love you too. So, please stop crying.’’ He said, his voice cracking at the end.
I sat there shocked, too shocked to think.
*He loves me!?*
I didn’t realise I stopped crying until I feelt his warm lips against my cold ones.
We sat there kissing each other as if our lives depended on it.
Suddenly his lips left mine,
-‘’Kyra, will you be my girlfriend?’’ he asked nervously.
I couldn’t help it, I pounced on him screaming yes, when I looked at him he had a smile that was nearly too big to fit his face.
-‘’Yes! I promise to be the best boyfriend ever’’ he said overjoyed.
-‘’You better. I don’t want to punch you face in for hurting my sister, but I’ll sure as hell will do it.’’ Caleb said in a threatening voice.
-‘’Yes sir!’’ he answered.
We all laughed. And then Aaron walked me home(Caleb already left)
-‘’Thank you Kyra, for making me the happiest boy alive.’’
I blushed and looked away.
-‘’Don’t hide your beautiful face from me. You blushing is the most beautiful sight I could ever see.’’ Then he kissed me soo sweetly.
-‘’Goodnight Kyra.’’
-‘’Goodnight, Aaron.’’
