Dear Nobody,
This is a tale about fate and giving in to destiny.
When Isobel Barlow was fifteen years old, she was raped by her Uncle Lawrence. It took her almost a year to tell her family about all the abuse she had suffered at his hands, and when she did tell them, it tore the family apart.
Her mother locks herself away in her room, her father works overtime, and her brother gets into more fights at school. Isobel is blamed for ruining everything, and she does not have the comfort she was looking for when she finally confessed.
One day while sitting in the local library, Isobel realizes she has nobody to turn to. Without thinking, she begins a letter entitled:
Dear nobody,
