Like A.M. Radio

Logan opened the door to his car and was surprised to find a small cassette tape resting in the front seat. Beside the tape was an ancient cassette player with headphones and a quickly scribbled note from Kandi.

Logan sighed as he slid into the seat, grasping the tiny mixed tape in his hand. It was so like Kandi to make him a mixed tape, especially after what had just happened between them.

Did anyone even listen to cassettes anymore? Cassettes were like A.M. radio, still floating around but never used.

Logan jammed the cassette in the player and slipped the ear buds into his ears. It was also so like Kandi for the first two songs to be Third Eye Blind.

He would never understand how a totally predictable girl like Kandi could get herself into such a mess. Even though Kandi was predictable, he still never knew what to expect.

This was all inspired by this wonderful story by Frances. Go read it now.
