I Thought You Could Never Love a Monster. I Was Wrong.

[A/N: Listen to the song that will be put down there, while you read the performance. ;D]

Three weeks later

"Ow, that hurt, Emmett!" I yealled when he pushed me in the couch.

Making a silly face he said, "Oh, boo hoo. You've beenhealin' nicely, so don't complain little sister." He smirked, sitting down next to me. "HOCKEY BITCH!" He yelled suddenly, staring at the TV.

"Yeah, that HURT MY EAR!" I yelled at him. He smirked, ruffling my hair. "Stupid vampire." I mumbled, smacking his arm.

I felt a cold pair of arms wrap around me, follwed my small kisses trailed on my cheek. I accidently moaned, soon feeling my face blush 10 different shades of red.

"EWW!" Emmett chuckled, making a disgusted face.

"Oh shut up! You and Rose do worse!" I retorted as Edward leaped over the back of the couch to sit with me.

Emmett chuckled shaking his head. He put all of his attention back into the game. Edward's hand went around my waiste gently, holding me close to him.

"You have a show tonight, am I right?" He whispered into my ear. Just the sound of his voice sent shivers running up and down my spine.

I bit my lip, "Yes, I do. Are you coming?" I asked, looking at him.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." He smiled, kissing my lightly. "Oh, but... you should take a shower first. Mind if I help you?" He smirked, sending more shivers through my body. Nodding he lifted me up in his arms as walked off towards the stairs.

I heard Emmett chuckle, "Use protection up in there!" He yelled in an old lady's voice, all shakey and elderly.

"Okay, Grandma." I yelled back. I heard booming laughter, followed by a smack in the head. I guess that Rose came in the room, completely annoyed at Emmett's loud laughing.

Edward carried me upstairs, smiling at me the whole way. I've been thinking carefully about us ever since I was attacked. I have never missed someone more than I missed Edward. I was overly thrilled to finally get my kisses back from him. I loved how he touched me gently enough, scared that he'd break me.

Truth is, he couldn't hurt me anymore than he had a few weeks ago. But I was completely over that, now. I was focusing on the present, not even the future, really. I just needed to heal, just as Edward said. I had scars on my stomach, but that was about it. I had been badly bruised on my back from being thrown against a wall. But surprisingly, I healed rather quickly.

I have been happier than ever with Edward back with me. I felt overly joyed, and I wasn't even close to being ashamed of that. I loved him with everything that I was. I couldn't ask for anything more.

And Edward has been different over those few weeks. He's been more intimate with me. Though we haven't has sex or anything close to it. But we did have some nice steamy make-out sessions. I was so happy to have his lips back on mine, even if that was as far as we'd get.

Today would be the first time Edward has seen me naked. I was surprised he wanted to shower with me, but I liked that feeling. I wanted to be in there with him, it'd be a new experience for me.

And as for tonight, I finally had a show. When I got back to school a few weeks ago, I had started to hang out with Becka and her crew more. Edward didn't mind at all, because he'd still get me at night. Har-har, Remy. Dirty thought.

I'd been hanging out with them ever since we planned to play a show, which would be tonight. We'd be playing for some school that had a formal theme. So, we had be be formal. In our owns ways. And I had newer connections now, for getting high. Though I couldn't be around my family. It was hard for me to wait so long to take a few drags, but I felt much better after I had taken one. I found out that Nate had some stoner friends that could hook me up with what I needed. So on the weekends, I'd devote all my time at Kelly's house. She smoked too, so it was even more fun.

The only hard part about all of this, was hiding it from my family. I would have to shower myself in perfume, or take a literal shower at Kelly's house become coming home. And shockingly, my family never thought of something out of place. Which made it all the more easier.

Edward started the shower, finding the right temperature for my body. While he did that, I took off my pants, but then I got some help from Edward... when he was done, he walked over to me and started to kiss me. I kissed him back feverishly, holding my hands in his messy bronze hair.

Edward put his hands up my shirt, making circles on my back. Then he quickly pulled my shirt over my head, leaving me in my underwear and bra. I bit my lip, embarrassed as his eyes wondered over my body.

"Love, you're beautiful." He mumbled against another kiss.

"Whatever." I said, pulling off my bottoms. Edward undid my bra, leaving my naked. I saw Edward taking off his clothes rather quickly. "You're taking one with me?" I smiled at the thought of us together in a shower.

"Of course." He smiled, now standing in front of me, naked. I couldn't help but let my eyes wonder down to his manhood. (Drools)

Edward pulled my towards him, laying kissing my neck. "We are going to do it, in the shower?" I asked, against his kisses.

He shook his head, "No, that's not a traditional first time. Today, we are just taking a nice shower together." He mused, lifting me into the shower.

I nodded, as I let the water soak me. It was warm, and it felt just right. I washed myself all over, glancing over to see Edward doing that same. But his eyes kept glancing over to me. Was I seriously that hideous, just after the attack?

Edward pushed me against the cold tile shower wall, gazing into my eyes. "You are not hideous. I selfishly let my eyes wonder onto your beautiful body. I will stop." He said.

I shook my head, pulling his head down to me. "Sorry, I thought wrong. If you like it, and that's the case, you can look all you want." I mused, kissing him. He moaned as I bit his bottom lip.

"We mustn't do this now. We need to get you ready for tonight." He said against my kisses. I groaned, washing the rest of myself before we got out.

As I finished up my hair and make-up, well, Alice was helping, I got a new message on my phone. I picked it up to see the name 'Kelly' flashing. I opened my phone to read a text from her. In all this odd insanity, we had become amazingly close.

'Shit! Are you ready! Just a bit longer! OMG! Anyways, sorry for the ranting, but where that torned white dress we shopped for, okay? And dark make-up, but I already told you about that. Yeah, so drags after? Kay! love you!'

I smiled at the text, shaking my head. I turned voer to see Alice searching through my closet, she seemed frustrated.

"I can't find a darn thing!" She squealed, stomping her foot on the ground.

I laughed, "Kelly texted me, telling me what to wear, so it's okay, Alice." I explained, kissing her cheek.

"Okay." She cheered, leaping onto her bed and jumping up and down like a little girl. Which basically, she was.

I found my Outfit and pulled it on quickly. Looking in the mirror, I wasn't sure of what I saw. But I guess I could say that the girl in the mirror look fairly pretty.

"You are more than fair pretty." Edward said to my thoughts, walking into the room. Hhe placed his arms around my waiste, his head resting on my shoulder.

"Oh, stop with reading my thoughts, you boob." I smirked, turning around to face him.

He smiled, kissing my nose. "I'm a boob? That's pretty offensive." He joked, holding me closer. "But I'm serious, you aren't even enough for words to describe. My best way to say it is that you look unbelievably amazing. Though, I could do with seeing you in all of that make-up." He said.

I shrugged. "Guess you're going to have to live with it..." I trailed, kissing his perfect jaw.

He stepped away, grinning. "We need to get you to the show, love." With that, I was taken off to the school where I'd finally be able to perform again. Even if it wasn't much, I was glad I could finally sing again. And we had good choices for songs.

"Okay, we'll sing this one first. Then for some kind of beat, this one. Remy, mind singing some Disney chick?" BEcka laughed, poking my arm.

"Vanessa? Eh, not really. As long as i'm finally singing again." I smirked, reading the lyrics. "Nice, I'll totally do this one."

"Good." Nate smiled at me.

"Alright, well the directors for the school dance thing told us to be on the stage at seven. We've only got a few minutes." Kelly said, grabbing my hand and swinging our arms. I laughed as we excitedly screamed together.

"Let's go you two love birds!" Nate joked.

"Hey, we are not gay, we are lesbian." Kelly retorted.

"Um, it's kind of the same thing. But keep it on the DL!" I joked, countering back. Kelly giggled as we walked on stage. Everyone was getting ready, I was standing be the mic, smiling at the people below.

"Hey, sexy ladies!" I heard Emmett boom from the back. Then I heard a loud smack, definately from Rose.

Then I heard her cheer, "Come on, Remy! Shake that booty!" She thrilled, waving at me. I laughed, waving back. Then I saw Edward smiling brilliantly at me, I smiled back.

"Alright, our first song is just a cover, but it's called Excuse All The Blood. Hope you like it!" I cheered as Kelly started the beat.

I nodded my head and walked a little on stage as I sang.

We ended with a small bang from Kelly. Everyone was cheering, so we must be doing great. I felt good singing again, I felt a little bit releived from everything. I could do this forever.

"Alright, why don't we continue, but down a different road, hope you guys like this cover." Becka laughed as I emphasized.

We had our own way of perfoming this song, Hook It Up. Even if it was normally a hip-hop kind of song, we had different instruments, so we did it differently. After that song, we performed a few more songs:
Beautiful Together. Which was one of my favorites to sing. The kids loved us, and wanted encores, but we couldn't give them.

We walked off stage, and I met up with Edward and the rest of my family. Edward kissed me passionately. "You were amazing. Different....music." He smirked, kissing me again.

I rolled my eyes, "Oh you know you like the second song, and my dancing." I winked, giggling.

He sighed. "Of course, love. Are you coming with us?" He asked.

I bit my lip, "I was going to go to Kelly's for the night, if that's okay wiith you." I said, kind of afraid he'd say no. But his smile said something totally different. "Thank you!" I cheered, kissing him forcefully.

He chuckled, "I'm not going to keep you locked up with me forever, though that is very tempting." He smirked, kissing me again. "I love you."

"I love you too." I said before getting picked up, kind of, by Kelly.

"Let's go girly!" She cheered, apparently, she snuck a few shots before performing.

I say my goodbyes to my family and took off to Kelly's house. It was empty when we arrived, which was the best. Nate and his friends soon arrived, and had already made little batches. Kelly cheered when she got her stash. I laughed at her as she took a big drag, coughing a few minutes after.

I took mine and inhaled, feeling a sudden sensation of heightened senses. I felt absolutely free, and I felt like I was falling, and literally I was. I fell off the couch and landed on Kelly. She let out a high shriek, we both started laughing uncontrollably.

"Hey, we got something different." One of Nate's friends said. Atleast, I think it was one of them.

"What?!" Kelly and I yelled in unision, getting up from the ground.

"This." One guy held up a small bag that had white crystals in them. "Coke" He stated simply.

"Ooh! Me me mee!" Kelly whined, reaching for the drug. The guy placed some on the coffee table in front of us, handing each of us a small tube like peice of paper. "How?" She whined, unsure on how to snort it.

"Like this." He demonstrated, snorting straight up the little white specks. Soon he was out of it, and he laughed out of nowhere.

"Let's do it together, Remyyy!" She carried out on the 'y' in my name, smiling exotically.

"Fine." I giggled at her facial expression. I took the tube when Kelly did, and placed it down on the table. "One." I started.

"Two." She countered.

"Three." We said together, snorting up the drug.

Instantley I felt better. It was better than pot, ten million times better. I wanted more, but I need to relax and let the drug travel through me. I smiled up at the ceiling, laughing strangely. Kelly pulled up up from the couch and we stumbled our ways over to the doors.

"Where you goin'?" I think it was nate who asked.

"Up your ass!" Kelly giggled, follwed by me. She pulled me outside and we fell onto the ground. I crawled around her to lay on my back in the cold evening grass. Kelly layed next to me and we stared up at the sky. I felt great, and it was amazing. I forgot about every problem I was going through, even if the problem was something small, or big, It was gone right now.

"HA HA HA HAAA!" I barked a laugh, breaking the silence.

"HEE HEE HEE HAWW!" Kelly chortled, rolling in the grass.

"WAA LAA LAAAA!" I shrieked a high laugh.

"WEE SNAW!" Kelly yelled, sounding like a fucking donkey.

"I looove youu Kelly!" I screamed in her ear.

"I bloody love you too, Remyyy!" She yelled back. We both started laughing like crazy.

Soon, silence overcame us again. We just looked into the dark sky, amazed at the shiney things up there. I wanted to learn how to fly, to be able to touch those shiney things in the sky.

"What are those?" I pointed up to the shiney things.

"Hmm..." Kelly thought, "I don't know. I wanna touch 'em." She smiled widely, like the way the Joker's face was cut to be. I boomed a laugh, uncontrollably.

"I'm going to go home." I said, getting up. I stumbled a bit.

"Love youu!" Kelly yelled from behind me. I waved a hand and stumbled off to the town.

I wanted to find my way to fly. I was super fascinated at those bright white lights in the sky. I wanted to touch them, to grab them. Maybe Edward would like that, if I gave that to him as a present. He'd love me even more if I got him one of those thingies. I smiled at myself and I wondered deeper in an unknown forest. I didn't know how long I had been walking when I reached a beach.

I felt the sand through my toes, and I sent a giddy shrill out of my mouth. I stumbled onto the beach lifelessly. I looked around, then back up at the sky. Out of the corner of my eye, it caught my attention quickly. I turned to face the high rocky mountain thing. It looked very high, and I couldn't help but smile at myself. That would be the way I'd get that bright light for Edward.

I started running up to the mountain thing. Then I realized it wasn't a mountain; it was a cliff. That was even more surprising. The thought in my head sent burts of giggles to escape my mouth. I was going to fly off that cliff, and retreive a light for my Edward.
