She's a Triple Threat

"Just go up on stage and sell it. But before you do tell them your name and the song you will sing. Got it?" She nodded and was handed a microphone.
Walking out on stage her nerves got to her, Vada was jittery as the spotlight settled on her. "Hi I'm Vada Lovelace." The nerves left a she smiled broadly, "I'm going to sing Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis." A few snickers went through the crowd and her blue eyes scanned the almost invisible heads.
Closed off from love, didn't need the pain
Once or twice was enough and it was all in vain
Time starts to pass before you know it your frozen

But something happened for the very first time with you
My heart melt into the ground and found something true
And everyone's looking 'round thinkin I'm going crazy

Just like before the students were captivated. There eyes wide mouths slightly agape, Vada had that effect on people. Even the teachers, some of the greatest performers of all times stared in awe.
But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing

But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing

You cut me open and I keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open

Trying hard not to hear
But they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears
Try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that the goal
Is to keep me from falling

But nothing's greater than the rush that comes with your embrace
And in this world of loneliness
I see your face
Yet everyone around me
Thinks that I'm going crazy, maybe, maybe

But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open

And it's draining all of me
Oh they find it hard to believe
I'll be wearing these scars
For everyone to see

I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love

Cheers errupted from the crowd and some of the girls looked dejected, as if they had just lost what they loved most in the world. Perfect!

"Well it seems as though you've made it in." The Dean tried to hide a smile from her but failed miserably. Welcome to the School of Arts."
"Thank you." Vada was so happy she was practically bouncing in her seat.
"You are in the east dorm Kastri, room 24B." She handed her a key. Then shooed her out of the office.
Scampering Vada picked up her many bags and made her way over to the exit. It was a slow and painful trek to the dorm, the straps digging into her shoulders. "You want help with that?" A male voice asked from just behind her. She spun around (or attempted to) to come face to face with a boy taller than her.
"That would be great thanks!" The boy picked up some of her bags and they started to walk. "I'm Vada."
He laughed, "I know I saw your performance. The whole school is talking about it."
"Good or bad?" She questioned.
"Oh bad definetly, but here that is a compliment because the worse people talk about you the better you are."
"Huh. Just like New York then."
"Anyways. I'm Seth, nice to meet you."
