Brooklyn

"Please open up?" Brooklyn banged lazily on the door. We were leaning against the door on the ground. We've been in here for almost an hour.

All we could hear was the laughter of Alex and Hally.

"Grr." Brooklyn said. She looked like she was going to fall asleep.

"Who knew sitting in a supply closet for almost an hour can make you tired." She said.

I laughed. "I know."

She rested her head on my shoulder, and as embarrassing it is for me to say, I started blushing.

"Don't fall asleep in here though." I said.

She yawned. "Why not? They're not gonna let us out for a while."

There was a loud bang at the door, making Brooklyn scream quietly.

The door opened. "What are you kids doin' in here'?!" It was the pool security dude!

Our eyes widened.

"Nothing?" Brooklyn said but it sounded more like a question.

The guy glared.

"Uh, we must be going now! Places to be, tea to drink!" Brooklyn said, grabbing my hand and grabbing my hand and we ran out of the pool area, not caring about our towels or anything.

"They ditched us!" I said. We were walking on the sidewalk now.

"Bastards." Brooklyn said.

I laughed in agreement. "Yeah."

"Where do you think the went?" I asked.

"I don't know. Maybe our house, or yours." She said, shrugging.

I shrugged as well.

"Let's go to the park." I said randomly.

"Why the park?" She asked.

"Because it's fun there. There's swings, and slides, and teeter-totters!" I said excitedly.

"Alright, alright! We'll go to the park, Jack." She said.

"Yay!" I laughed. "Let's go." I grabbed her hand again and we ran to the park.

And guess what. I was blushing while we were holding hands. I'm turning into such a girl.
