Brooklyn

I sighed. The caffeine was wearing off.

Alex and Hally were off walking around the park, being all flirty. Jack was layout down on his back staring at the sky, and I was sitting criss-cross beside him.

"This is getting boring." Jack said.

"Yeah. I know." I said.

I laid down next to him, putting my hands under my head.

"So, where are you from?" He asked.

"California." I answered.

"Why'd you move here?"

"I wanted to start over."

"Why?" He asked, still staring up at the sky.

"My fiance cheated on me."

Jack looked over at me. "I'm sorry."

I nodded, as if saying thank you or something.

"So," Jack stood up. He stood over me, making a large shadow cast over me.

"Gee, thanks. Block my sun." I joked.

"Your welcome! I'm helping you right now. You don't want a farmers tan, now do you?" He laughed.

"Blah. Noooo." I shook my head.

"Are you comfortable on the ground?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"Huh. Too bad." He picked me up from the ground and threw me over his shoulder, in a firefighter kind of way.

"What are you doing?!" I squealed.

"Hey Alex!" Jack yelled. "I think Hally and Brooklyn could use a dip in the lake!"

From what I can kind of see, Hally started running away, but Alex caught her and picked her up bridal style, walking over to the edge of the lake right beside Jack.

"Jack, no! No!" I yelled. "I swear to god if you-"

"One!" Alex yelled.

"No!" Hally and I started squirming around in Jack and Alex's arms.

"Two!" Jack yelled.

I started hitting Jack's butt, making him giggle a little.

"THREE!" Jack and Alex both yelled.

Jack flung me into the water.

I got my head above water and shook the wet hair out of my face.

I looked over at Hally, standing there in the water, frozen, with her mouth wide open.

"I'm wearing my new Vans!" I yelled, walked to the edge of the lake and lifting myself up.

"You should have told us. We would have saved the shoes and then thrown you in." Jack smiled, trying not to laughed.

Hally slowly lifted herself back onto the shore and looked up at the two guys.

"I hate both of you." She stuck her middle finger up.

"You know what, Hal?" I asked, smirking.

"What, Lyn?" I think she knew what I was thinking since she was smirking too.

"I think they need a hug!"

Hally and I jumped up, spreading our arms wide and hugging the guy that threw us into the water.

"Oh, look! Your all wet now too!" I said.

I looked down. We were at the edge of the lake.

Jack followed my eyes and then looked at me. "Oh shi-"

I shoved him into the lake.

Hally and Alex burst out laughing.

"Payback sucks, Jack, huh?" I laughed.

These guys make me feel way too hyper.
