Charlotte has had it rough but it means that after all these years she has developed a mean left hook. She has always been independent but when things get over her head- like telling her brother he has a scholarship to a prestigious arts school while really she is struggling to cover his tution or pretending that she isn't falling apart from having her best friend living thousands of miles away, her boxing gloves come off.
Zacky has always been a man who wants to share his life with someone else, but at his own pace. At the moment he isn't looking for Mrs. right, just Miss right now, but when an ex's friend comes to town he finds himself being her life preserve and he doesn't know how he feels about this, because he is all that is keeping her a float.
