Jasey Rae
Jasey Rae POV
I tried to ignore Jack, but it was too hard. He was always there, glaring at me. There was a bruise shaped like my hand on his cheek. I had to apologize to Zayden.
"Zayden, listen. I'm sorry. I thought going out with you would help me get over Jack, but it only made things worse. And for that reason, I think we should break up." I said quietly.
"Fine." he mumbled.
"Can we be friends?" I asked hopefully.
"I'd like that." he grinned, finally looking at me.
--
"JASEY RAE!!!" Zayden, Rick, and Zach screamed, running towards me at my locker.
"What is it?" I groaned.
"We're playing at the Towson Center Sunday at five o'clock!" they yelled.
"That's great!" I exclaimed, hugging them.
"And you'll be coming?" Zach asked.
"Of course!" I grinned. Jack walked by.
"Jasey Rae." he said coldly, nodding in my direction.I waved.
--
It was Sunday and two o'clock. I was at the Towson center, three hours early.
"JASEY RAE!" Rick yelled, running towards me.
"What now?" I exclaimed.
"I need help!" he whined, sticking out his bottom lip.
"With what?" I laughed.
"I don't know what to wear!" he complained hopelessly.
"Fine!" I sighed and let him pull me out.
"Hey, I'll be right back." he said when we got into the lounge.
I plopped down on the couch and he walked out, closing the door. It clicked and locked. I ran to the door.
"RICK!!! LET ME OUT!!! NOW!!!" I screamed, banging on the door.
"Jasey Rae?" Alicia asked.
"Ali? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"The guys made me. Besides, I couldn't stand to see you sad." she explained from the other side of the door.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Look behind you." she said.
I turned and saw Jack. He walked out of the bathroom with just a towel around his waist and damp hair.
"Talk to him!" she hissed.
"Hi Jase." Jack said, giving me a little wave
OH. SHIT.
