I waited in line for fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes just so you could ring up my one pack of gum and an ice tea. I must have been crazy.

Your name tag read, Samantha. Barley legible behind your long wavy brown hair. It probably looked like I was just checking you out. I hope you knew that too. I just wanted to know your name.

"Paper or plastic?" you asked with a smile. It still caught me off guard how beautiful you were.

"I'll just hold it." I answer returning a smile. I wanted to tell you what my name was, or that I saw you a couple days earlier. But it wouldn't come out. Though I still remember.
