Only in the Moonlight Does This Feel Right

Jade Young, a normal teen, is just a girl who loves to live a life of simplicity and have fun with friends and her older brother, Christian.

As a series of unfortunate events has happened in her life, they begin to take their tole on her and her family. For financial issues, she is then shipped off with Christian to La Push, Washington, to stay with their family member who they haven't seen since childbirth — Aunt Emily Young.

In a diary that Jade has received from her deceased mother's will, she finds interesting stories and entries that make her question her sanity. "Are there truly such things as immortals?"

As Jade's new love interest, Jacob Black, or as Jade prefers to call him, her "infatuation", appears, she can't help but feel sidetracked by him. As things progress in La Push, Jade is becoming slowly overwhelmed by everything. How much longer will she be able to hold out before her limits are reached...?
