Car Crash Hearts

Eric jumped up and down, doing some kind of dance. It looked kind of like one of those Irish dances.

We were in our hotel room.

"AHH." Eric sang loudly.

My phone vibrated from my bag.

I quickly grabbed it and looked at the caller ID. Stacy.

I stood up and told the guys I'd be one minute and walked out onto the balcony.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Brooklyn! Are you and Hally still coming tomorrow?"
Her way to perky voice filled my ears.

My eyes widened. "Wait, what?"

"The family reunion. You guys are still comin', right? Everyone is so excited to see you all!"

I completely forgot about that!

"Oh yeah. Sure." My voice got really squeaky.

"Great! Well, I've gotta go. See you tomorrow!"

"Um...Yeah." I closed my phone and stood there.

"Crap." I muttered.

I ran back into the room and out of the hotel room.

The four guys all gave me odd looks.

"HALLY!" I knocked on their hotel room door. "Stacy just called and the family reunion is tomorrow! And everyone is excited to see us! And, and, and, if we don't go, we'll be like...Shunned or something!"

Jack opened the door.

"What?" He asked.

"Where's Hally?" I barged into the room. He rolled his eyes and closed the door.

"Erm, the doctors office with Alex." He had the hood of his hoodie up on his head.

I looked around. "Where's your girlfriend?" I asked, crossing my arms.

He scratched his arms. "We had a fight."

I raised my eyebrows. "About what?"

"That's none of your business. So, what was this I heard about your family reunion?" He tried to change the subject.

I rolled my eyes and went along with it. "I forgot about it and it's tomorrow."

He smirked.

"Why are you smirking?"

"No reason."

I glared at him for a minute before sighing and giving up.

"You know what? When Hally gets back, tell her to come find me."

And with that, I walked out of the hotel room and back into the one I was sharing with the guys of ARTTM.

"Alalalalalalala!" Eric and Justin sang.

"You guys are loud." I laughed.

"Get used to it." Andrew flopped down onto the bed.

"B!" Hally knocked on the door.

I stood up quickly and ran over to the door to let her in.

"Jack told me you came by earlier! I can't believe we forgot about the reunion thingy!" She said.

"I know!" I said. I looked into the room at the guys, "I'll be back in a minute."

I walked into the hall with Hal.

"So do you think we should go?"

"Well, it is only 2:30...And I mean, we could just get on the plane really quick and everything." She said.

I shrugged. "I guess..."

"Do you want to?" Hally asked.

"Yeah, do you?"

"I'm in."

I turned around to walk back into the room but Hally pulled me back.

"Alex and I just got back from the doctors."

My eyes widened. "Oh yeah! What happened? Are you...You know?"

She shook her head. "Just a false alarm." She smiled.

I hugged her, silently.
I didn't really know what to say.

"So, um, should we go pack a little or something? and book our flight?" I asked her.

She nodded. "Yeah, I'll go book our flights now."

She walked back into her room and I did too.

"Hey, guys. I'm gonna be gone for a few days with Hally....Family reunion type thing, I guess."

"Huh?" Nick asked.

"It's just something Hally and I have to go to." I explained, "We'll be back in two days, three at the most."

"Um...okay." They all nodded slowly.

"So," I grabbed my bag that I never unpacked, "I'm gonna go talk to Hal about the flight."

I bent down and kissed Nick before speed walking out of the room and into Hally's.

"Will it work?" I heard Jack asked.

"DUH!" Hally replied.

I cleared my throat. "Hey guys."

"B!" Hally smiled, "I found our tickets! We can leave tonight!"

"That's great. I'll just call Stacy really quick." I said, pulling out my phone and walking out onto the little balcony.

I turned around a little and saw Hally and Jack leaned in around the computer.

"Hello?" Stacy answered.

"Hey, Stace! Um, just wanted to call and tell you again that Hally and I are coming tomorrow."

"Okay?"

"Yeah, so, uh, see you tomorrow!"

"Alright! Bye!"

"Bye." I closed my phone before walking back inside.
