I Like the Way You Wear Those Faded Blue Jeans

“Dad would you like to hand me the presents” I asked
“Okay we’ll start with this one it’s from us” Grant motioned to the rest of the Wilson’s

I took the large box that was held out to me. I ripped off the wrapping paper and nearly dropped the present an Xbox 360.

“Wow thanks dad” I hugged him then his wife and my brothers and sisters
“This one is from Jay, Kris and kids” Grant handed across another box

Once again I shredded the paper and smiled Guitar hero.

“Thanks Jay I’ve been after this game and somewhere to play it” I smiled handing out hugs
“Don’t thank me it was your dad’s idea” Jay said
“This one is from Kris Williams” Dad said

I took the present and once again destroyed the paper.

“I was unsure as to what to get you then when G sent a list around of wants or what they were getting it seemed like something that would be easy to find” Kris said
“Kris you just completed my Supernatural DVD collection thank you”
“SUPERNATURAL” Dustin yelled “Give me”
“Mine hands off” I said
“Anyway next one is from Amy” Grant said

I took the present and unwrapped it.

“You’re always complaining about your wavy hair” Amy said
“Thanks Amy” I hugged her
“This one is from Tango” Grant said

I took the small box and opened it.

“Um can I ask who this is for” I asked confused
“Steve would you bring out your half” Tango asked
“Okay I’ll be right back” Steve said

As I sat confused looking down at the small pink collar I wonder what Steve’s half could possibly be.

“Hay stop that” Steve said

I looked over at Steve who was struggling with the tiniest puppy.

“Oh how cute” I said taking the puppy from Steve “What kind of dog is it”
“Shitzu” Steve said

I placed the collar around the dog’s neck and began to pat it.

“So what are you going to call it” Jay asked
“Cat” Tango said
“A dog named cat tempting but no” I said
“Maybe name it like I name my cats” Steve said
“Sassy Lasses and Home Depot” I said
“Yeah Sassy Lasses because she is sassy and she batters her lasses at me and Home Depot because that’s where I found him” Steve said
“The dogs a girl right” I said
“Yes” Steve said
“Okay well I shall call her Eve Granson” I nodded
“Where did you get that” Dad asked
“Eve from Steve and Granson Grant and Jason” I said
“Wow your good” Steve said

We went back to opening presents. Next in the line up was from Bruce Tango, guitar hero metallica. Then Britt who gave me Dean Winchesters neck lace. The moment it was in my hands Dustin started to chase me. It took a good 10 minutes to get Dustin to calm down. KJ gave me a signed MCR poster which I put straight on my wall. Kris. G didn’t know what to get me so she gave me a gift card for make-a-bear. I thought that was really awesome because I always wanted to go there but either didn’t have the money or the time.

Carl and Keith must have talked to each other because one brought me an MCR shredded messenger bag and the other an MCR shredded hat. Dustin is one confused little man because he didn’t know what to get me so he got a supernatural shirt, Sam and Dean dog tags and a mug.

“Dude why?” I asked
“I didn’t know what to get you so I got a few things” Dustin said
“All supernatural themed but what if I already had these things or didn’t like them” I said
“Well then I was in shit” Dustin said
“Thanks everybody this was the best birthday ever” I smiled
“What are we sitting around for let’s party” Tango yelled

The music went on I took the Xbox 360 and set it up. We all took turns playing guitar hero. It turned into the battle between Grant and I. Everyone had taken sides Grant was down hearted when his sons took my side. Turns out like father like daughter.

The party was great until it ended. Grant and Jason’s kids were tired so they left soon after Carl and Keith left followed by Kris and Amy, and so on. Soon only Steve, Tango and I were left. We were just talking when all of a sudden the room started to spin. Then black. I woke up and I was on the floor I heard someone calling my name them black again.

*Steve’s P.O.V*

Tango, Zora and I were just sitting around talking about random stuff when all of a sudden she just fell. I moved the table and pulled her to the ground. She was out cold. I yelled at Tango to call an ambulance. I keep calling to her. She opened her eyes but then soon closed them again. Over the next 30-40 minutes she was in and out of consciousness. I went in the ambulance with Zora while Tango followed in the car. I couldn’t help but think of all the things that could go wrong. Did she have a concussion or maybe a tumour? I was scared. What would I tell Grant? What would I tell Georgia? The questions I was asking my self. I remained quite the whole trip and just held Zora’s hand. When we got to the hospital Zora was whisked away. I answered a bunch of questions to some nurse. Just as I finished Tango came in.

“Tango can you wait here I need to make a call” I said
“Sure man” Tango said

I walked out of the hospital and pulled out my phone. I went through my contacts and found Grant’s number.

“Hello” Grant’s tired voice said
“Sorry GW I didn’t mean to wake you but you need to come down to the hospital right away” I said
“Why what happened?” Grant asked waking up quite quickly
“Zora, Tango and I were just sitting around talking when she just fell she’s in and out of consciousness” I said
“Okay I’ll be there soon” Grant said
“Okay see when you get here” I said hanging up

Once again I went through my contacts. I found Georgia and dialled the number.

“Hello” she answered
“Hay your still awake” I said
“Yeah the kids wouldn’t sleep” Georgia said
“Um how quick do you think you can be at the hospital” I said
“Why want happened?” Georgia asked with concern in her voice
“It’s Zora she’s in and out of consciousness I don’t know what happened” I said
“Okay I’m on my way” Georgia said
“I’ll be waiting” I said

10 minutes after I got off the phone with Georgia Grant had arrived and 10 minutes after that Georgia. We all walked into the hospital where Tango had fallen asleep. I poked him awake before sitting down.

“Anything yet Tango” I asked
“No” Tango yawned
“I hope she’s okay” Grant placed his head in his hands
“She was fine one minute and the next she was out cold” I said

We fell into silence. Tango went back to sleep, Grant was trying to calm Georgia who had started crying. I was watching people walk in and out of the hospital. I must have fallen asleep because I woke to Grant shaking me.

“What?” I asked rubbing my eyes
“We can see her now” Grant said
“Really” I said
“Yeah but she’s not awake” Grant said “I’ll explain when we get to her room”

I followed Grant through the hallway to a room. We walked in to see a small girl sleeping peacefully.

“Doctors said there was a fluid build up on her brain” Grant said
“How” I asked
“They said that it’s from when she hit her head that it was just slowly growing” Grant said
“But she’ll be okay” I said
“She should be they removed the fluid they want to keep her in for a couple of days just to see if it come back” Grant said
“I’ll go home and come back later” I said
“Okay see ya later” Grant said

I left the hospital ready to sleep, eat, shower and return.
