What is an ending? An ending is a close, a wrap, a finish. Like the end of an era, the end of a millennium, or the end of a life. The end is where we choke goodbyes through clenched teeth, waving white handkerchiefs and what not. Where we fake the smiles on our faces and flip through pages of pictures. They say it’s over, move on, let go, live and let die, au revoir, see ‘ya’ later and turn out the lights. Who says? I’ve never been a woman of conformity. So I ask you, who says? Who’s to say endings are sad, nostalgic and tragic. Who’s to say that endings aren’t just new beginnings?

I am Nora. I am moving past this town, this life, this state of mind. This is my new era. This is my ending, my beginning, my story.
