Here Comes the Sun

Changes.

They can’t be avoided, no matter how hard you try. You can’t fight them. You can’t ignore them. You can’t evade them. They just happen. And when they do, you just have to deal with them. When they do, there’s no turning back.

I can never turn back. I know that better than anyone. Things have changed so much already – every aspect of my life has been altered. The person I was then and who I am now are two entirely different beings. There’s no comparison.

Now I know things I wish I didn’t know. The truth stabs me more than any knife could.

But I have closure.

After everything he did, at least I have that much.

So here I am, accepting that change.

And I know many more are coming my way.
