~Preface~

I've always been told what to do. Not by my mama, oh no. By our captures. Mama's psycho cousins.

They keep us apart a lot of the time but when we are together we say things they can't understand. They know mama can speak Estonian and Japanese, but they don't know French.

Mama's taught me French over the years so we could talk to each other without Dylan and Andy knowing since they never took French.

It's not that bad for me when Dylan and Andy's girlfriend's are over. Steph and Roxie are real nice to me, also considering they think my mama's on a buisness trip and they're watching me out of pure love.

Bullshit.

I'm the maid pretty much doing whatever--cooking, cleaning, and getting my ass beaten if I don't do it within the time limit--and they torture mama for information.

She's told me that my dad's name is Damon. If anyone ever asked my name, I'd ask if they knew Damon (and wasn't plotting to kill him) before I replied. If they did, I'd reply in six words only:

I am Alice Renee Sterling-Salvatore.
