Cats and Dogs
Alaivera Carden is unique. No one has ever seen one of her kind before, most likely because she’s the only one still walking upright, still returning to the weaker human form.
Alai knows more than she should about werewolves and vampires. She knows that the Cullens are vegetarians and that Bella both wants to be immortal and has been ordered to become so. She knows that the Quileute tribe is descended from wolves and that a pack of shape shifters roam the forest on the reservation. What she doesn’t know is why Jacob Black hates her more than the vampires, even though she’s more like him than anything else.
Jacob Black is confused. He’s imprinted on a girl straight from a story book, even though he has no room to talk himself. He doesn’t love her, or even like her that much, if prompted he’d say they were complete opposites. But he does have the need to be around her and talk to her even if the only things he says are insults.
Can these two work out the issues keeping them apart or are they really as incompatible as cats and dogs?
