Jackie's POV

My eyes opened as Matt's voice slowly woke me. I couldn't help but sigh as he held onto me. I looked up at his closed eyes as he sang quietly. He must have felt me shift slightly because his eyes soom opened, a smile spreading over his gloriously alive lips.

"I'm sorry..." It vanished "Did I wake you?" He asked, worried.

"No." I smiled and rubbed my eyes "So..."

"Are you feeling ok?" He asked.

I nodded and felt my skin crawling again "I need... Uhm.. to sit up though." I struggled to sit as he assisted me. "Top drawer..." I yawned and pointed next to him "Can you hand me the box?" His eyes scanned mine as he shook his head "Matt-"

"No." He stared at me "You can't even be serious. Can you just not? Can you just have a few minutes with me without being high?"

I felt my legs shaking "It's not that easy, Matt.. I haven't stopped in, like, four months." I felt his eyes scanning me "I know ,you can tell."

"I just want to hear your voice." He whispered "Every morning."

"Matt.." I felt tears well up in my eyes "Can you hand it to me-"

"Why?!" He asked harshly.

"I need-"

"WHY!?"

"So I don't have to feel this!" I shouted "The pain! My heart breaking from not having you!" I felt the tears spill over as I shook my head "God damnit." I laid back down "I can't even function any more."

"Jackie you need this." Matt put his hand on my shoulder. "I'm right here. I love you."

"No... You love who I was." I whispered.

"She's in there." He whispered back "I know that."

I took deep breaths as Matt's hands traveled up my back and onto my shoulders "Let me."

"Please save me..." I whispered "Take me... Home.."

"Baby just let me." His lips tickled my neck as my eyes shut "Please."

"I want to come home..."

"Lets go."

"I can't leave." I whispered, hearing him huff "Until I say goodbye to Kara and Dev?"

I turned over to catch the smile playing on his lips "I never thought I'd see you again... alive..." He whispered.

"I miss you... so much..." I cried as his hands found their way around my face, his lips placing gentle kisses along my skin "I miss you, Matt... I love you.."

"I love you too, baby. I want to keep you safe." Tears left his eyes as he kissed my lips "Please let me take you home."

"Lets go." I whispered as he sat me up "I'll pack.."

"I'll call Zack." He smiled and took his phone out "I... I can't believe you're coming home."

"I don't want to..." I paused as he looked at me "I Don't want to die like this."

His arms quickly embraced me "you won't. I'm here for you, we all are. We're gonna get you through this." I couldn't help but shake at the thought of what was to come. Stopping was going to be the death of me. I knew it.
