Preface
There is a legend of an ancient civilisation living in the mountains above the clouds. This civilisation has been thought to be more advanced than the rest of the world; they have no need for electricity, for they have their own source of power, a magic crystal no taller than a house. Every child and adult carry a crystal the size of a battery around their necks, it never dies, never loses power, it is said that their crystals have a special healing power. A small group of men and women found the crystal millions of years ago and made their civilisation what it is today.
They call themselves the skylanders and us the ground dwellers. They are an ancient and sacred race of humans. Some ground dwellers venture to find them and steal their magic crystal for evil purposes. Some have succeeded in finding them but where taken out with brutal force.
They have been living peacefully for centuries now, but to the ground dwellers there are know only legends.
