Eli hates it. He hates it all. But what he hates the most is himself. He wishes he could change, and be normal. But it's not going to happen any time soon.
The other one, the one who's eyes trap Eli into a pit of wonder and happiness, seems okay with it. He seems as if he's just perfectly fine with being who he is. He should be.
