Words I've Never Said

You know I love you. You’re one of my closest friends… but some unearthed feelings are about to come up, about that night. You might not have realized it, but the boy I loved was all over you. I noticed it, and so was the boy that was in love with me. I’m about to unearth feelings that I would never talk about otherwise. I just don’t get why he would like you over me. To be honest, I’m prettier, I’m more shapely, and I would just think that he would like me more in general. This might hurt your feelings, but then again, you will never read this, or I pray you never will.

I love you, and I always will, for you are my friend, but I don’t know if I can uplift this grudge until I am sure of myself that I am over him.
