Crash Into My Arms

It wasn’t until the sun’s ray’s poked through the blinds on Gerard’s bedroom window the following morning that I awoke. I lifted my head slightly to see Gerard sleeping soundly. Mouth hanging open slightly.

But it quickly dawned on me he was much too still. I pushed myself upright slowly, placing my hand upon his chest.

No beat… warmth fading… he was gone.

“No… NO!” I shouted.
Mikey came dashing into the room. “Miz?”
I looked at him; tears streaming down my face. “He’s gone! Gerard’s GONE!”
“No.” Mikey croaked, quickly coming to the bedside.

The two of us wrapped our arms around Gerard, holding his lifeless body and crying. It was just too horrible, too real.

Gerard Arthur Way, was gone…
