Vynce just snorted at how his parents seemed so fascinated by Star being a Vampire Angel. Angels have the same value or status of a Vampire, a Vampire Angel holds the most power, above Vampires and Angels. However Vynce still thought it was just a myth and Trent and Star are lying. “A tattoo proves nothing. Yea it’s a really cool tattoo, but a Vampire Angel is nothing more than a myth” Vynce said
“It’s not a myth. The wings hurt like a mother when they came out of my back” Star said
“I bet the wings looked beautiful” Aunty Lily said
“They looked just like my tattoo but better. I still had the wings when I walked on to the plane. Trent woke me up to tell me that I didn’t have them anymore” Star said
“Oh. I would’ve really liked to have seen them” Uncle Dracius said
“What made them come out first?” Vynce asked
“I believe it was right after Kyle said that Vampire Angels don’t exist” Star said
“Really?” Vynce asked with an evil grin
“Yea, really” Trent said both annoyed and protectively
“They don’t exist” Vynce said as he sat back in his chair, arms folded and a smile on his face. At first nothing happened except Star was getting pissed off at Vynce. About 5 minutes later, Star’s breathing became more rough and she grabbed on to the side of the table, turning her knuckles white. She bit down real hard on her lip and had tears forming in her eyes. Star’s whole body started to shake. Uncle Dracius and Aunt Lily looked on in horror and worry. Vynce, on the other hand, looked shocked and pissed. Now there were flapping dark green bat wings behind Star’s back. “Happy now, Vynce?” Star asked
“My dear girl, are you okay?” Aunt Lily asked
“Yea, I’m fine. Thanks for asking” Star said
“So you really are a Vampire Angel?” Uncle Dracius asked
“I guess. I don’t know much about them” Star said
“I had bitten her once, and only once. It was before we discovered that she was a Vampire Angel. Her blood knocked me out for 3 hours” Trent said
“So now what do we do?” Aunt Lily asked
“I fight her” Vynce said
“WHAT?!” Trent yelled
“You heard me, I fight her” Vynce said
“Why?” Uncle Dracius asked
“So I can see if she is really more powerful than a vampire” Vynce said like it was obvious
“Just prepare to go down” Star said with a smirk
“Do you really think that, that’s a good idea?” Trent asked Star concerned
“Yup, I do. I’ll be fine” Star said
“Tomorrow at noon, in the training room” Vynce said with a evil smirk
“See ya there” Star said with a happy smile
“What happens if I win?” Vynce asked
“Well you won’t, but ummm… I guess I become your girlfriend. And when I win you must give Trent the respect he deserves” Star said
“There is a lot at stake for you dear little Trent. By tomorrow you will no longer have Star, she will belong to me” Vynce said smiling evilly
“Dude I’m older than you! And Star will never be yours” Trent said
“Wait and see” Vynce said
Soon Trent and Star disappeared to their room. “What the fuck were you thinking?! I can’t lose you! I won’t! You barely know anything about being a Vampire Angel, and then you pull this stunt?!” Trent yelled at Star; he had kept everything in during dinner but now he just exploded.
“If you really don’t have that much trust in me then maybe I’ll blow the whole thing on purpose. Then you can rot in guilt. I don’t know why but I know I can beat him. And I know I will for sure if my boyfriend had my back” Star said as she got ready for bed. Once she was ready for bed, she laid down on the bed and turned away from Trent. He got into bed and tried to pull Star into his chest, but her wings swat away every attempt he made. “Star, I’m sorry. I’m just not strong enough to handle the lose of you, especially to my cousin. And I… I… I love you” Trent said and not a second later, Star straddled Trent with a smile on her face and silent tears running down her cheeks.
“You love me?” Star asked
“Yea. How did you get on me so fast?” Trent asked
“I’m a Vampire Angel. And I love you too” Star said with a smile and leaned in and kissed Trent passionately.
Noon came too fast for Trent’s likings, and a little too fast for Star’s. Trent walked to the training room with Star’s hand in his. Star was wearing a low back, halter top work-out shirt and work-out pants with sneakers. “Are you ready to lose your girlfriend?” Vynce asked from behind the couple
“I’m not losing her. Are you ready to give your cousin respect and forget about the Prince-ego you have? Because Star will crush your ego” Trent said
“Whatever. She can’t beat a Vampire” Vynce said
“You’ll soon choke on those words Vynce” Star said as they entered the training room. Uncle Dracius and Aunt Lily were already in the observing room. Trent kissed Star passionately and then walked away. “What happened to your wings Star?” Vynce asked
“Don’t worry about me” Star said
“This time I’m not going to say the magic words that’ll make your wings appear” Vynce said.
“You don’t have to, just fight me already you pansy” Star said as Vynce’s fist collided with her stomach. This sent Star flying into the wall and fall to the ground.
“STAR!” Trent screamed and then saw Star getting up. Her wings were now out and her eyes have gone completely black. “Pissing me off will make my wings come out” Star said and a second later Star sent Vynce flying into the wall behind him by kicking him in the stomach. Vynce got up and then charged at Star, who flew up and kicked Vynce in the back sending him into the wall in front of him. Vynce kept trying to get to Star, but she was too fast for him and would do whatever he had planned for her, she wouldn’t do to him. Granted he got some hits on her, but he was a lot worse. “Okay, okay. You win. Vampire Angels are stronger than Vampires. And I promise I’ll give Trent the respect he deserves” Vynce said laying on the ground breathing heavily. Soon Star’s back hit the wall and Trent’s lips were dancing with hers. They stayed like that for a while and soon broke away, both breathless. “You’re awesome! Amazing!” Trent said
“Thanks. I told you I could do it” Star said
“And you did. I love you, I’ve wanted to tell you for so long and last night felt right” Trent said
“Yea, I love you too” Star said.
