Yet Another Vampire Slave Story
Upon waking up, Trent thought that last night was just his imagination. He looked over at Star’s area and couldn’t see her. Then he felt something move against him. He looked to see what it was and a smile spread across his face when he saw that it was Star trying to snuggle closer to him. He pulled her in closer to him and she readjusted herself. Now looking at the way Star was sleeping, he had no chance of getting out of bed without her noticing. He decided to rest his eyes. He had his arm around her waist protectively and her head was resting on his shoulders. He had a smile on his face. Never in his life would he thought of dating a human. He thought that either they thought vampires were scary or a myth. After meeting Star, he realized that there are people who still believe in vampires and people actually want to be vampires. He never knew that, and would’ve never guessed it a thousand years. Times sure have changed since he was younger. Trent looked at the clock to see what time it was and the neon numbers told him it was 10:22am. Do humans really sleep this late? Trent asked himself. Star soon groaned in her sleep and rolled over, away from Trent. He smiled and without any notice from Star, he got out of bed. He went into the bathroom and took a shower. By the time he walked into the bedroom, Star had woken up.
She sat there in bed rubbing her eyes. Trent smiled and walked towards her. “Good Morning Star” Trent said
“Good Morning. Do you mind if I take a shower before we go to breakfast? Unless you planned on eating with out me then…” Star said
“I’ll wait for you to take a shower” Trent said cutting her off smiling
“Ok, thanks” Star said with a smile and quickly got her stuff ready for a shower before locking herself in the bathroom. Fifteen minutes later, Star walked out of the bathroom refreshed, clean but still tired. The shower didn’t wake her up as much as she thought it would. She walked into the bedroom and saw Trent sitting on the bed patiently waiting. “Come on; let’s get you a cup of coffee. I’m sure that’ll wake you up” Trent said holding his hand out for her. She took it and then they headed to breakfast. They once again sat with Tony and Kyle, like they always do. “So… how’d it go?” Tony asked
“She said yes” Trent said with a smile
“Congrats. Now was it as hard as you made it out to be?” Kyle asked
“Kinda. You really don’t know how hard it is to ask someone like her. She seems too good to be true and I learn so much from her. But I’m so glad she said yes” Trent said and Star blushed.
“We’ll help protect her. She seems like out little sister anyway” Kyle said
“Though I’m pretty sure she can handle herself, we’ll still protect her. We know how much she means to you” Tony said as breakfast as placed in front of them.
“And how do you feel, Star?” Kyle asked
“Well I’m really happy he asked me out, because I like him. But I still don’t know what he sees in me. And you two are like the brothers I’ve always wanted” Star said as a cup of Pumpkin Spice flavored coffee was put in front of her.
“You are a very understanding person, you’re beautiful. You even seem fond of vampires! Most people don’t believe in us and the ones that do seem to think we are vial creatures that deserve to die and rot in Hell. And there are just things about you that can not possible have words put to them. And I just really like you” Trent said as Star blushed. “You’re so cute when you blush” Trent said, of course making Star blush even more.
“I would keep a close eye on her, the other servants might become jealous and try to do something to her” Tony whispered so that Star wouldn’t be able to hear them.
“I know that no matter what happens, Star can handle herself” Trent said
“She does seem very strong” Kyle said. Trent, Tony and Kyle looked at Star, smiled and then started to eat their breakfast. They ate and talked and Kyle asked something Star wished he didn’t. “Do you have any friends that might like us? If they’re your friends then they might be like you” Kyle said
“No” Star chocked out in a small voice.
“No what?” Kyle asked
“I don’t have any friends” Star said
“What happened to them?” Tony asked
“You told me your friends helped finish your look” Trent said
“I had friends, don’t have any anymore” Star said
“What happened to them?” Tony asked again
“I never had a lot of friends. One was raped and then committed suicide because of it. One was murdered by her boyfriend that was abusive. Two were killed in a drunk-driving accident when a drunk driver hit their car and made it wrap around a tree. And my other friend drowned” Star said and started to cry when she listed the first friend to leave her.
“How long ago was this?” Trent asked
“The last one to leave me was maybe two weeks before Trent started stalking the alleyway I was in” Star said and wiped away the tears that wouldn’t stop flowing down her cheek. Trent took his thumb and wiped away her tears. “Shit, I’m so sorry Star! I wouldn’t have said it if I knew it was going to make you cry. Shit, I’m really sorry Star” Tony said
“No it’s okay. You didn’t know, so I’m not going to hold it against you” Star said
“I’m sorry for your lost” Kyle said
“Thanks, they were the closest thing to family that I ever had” Star sniffed
“Well now we can be your new family” Kyle said with a soft smile
“Thanks guys” Star said with a weak a smile
“We are here for you whenever you need us. You can always cry on my shoulder” Trent said pulling Star closer to him. Star leaned into him for a hug. Star pulled out of the hug and asked “May I please be excused?”
“Where to?” Trent asked concerned, unsure if Star would hurt herself because she remembered the death of her “family”.
“I would like to blow my nose and freshen up my face. Get rid of all the tear marks on my cheeks” Star said
“Okay, I’ll see you shortly” Trent said
“Okay. And guys?” Star asked
“Yea” Trent, Tony and Kyle said at the same time
“Thanks, I’m glad to know I have people I can go to, if I need anything” Star said
“You’re welcome” the three vampires said in unison.
“And Trent? I just want you to know that I wouldn’t kill myself. I don’t think I have enough guts to cause that much pain to the people that care bout me. Well I’ll see you shortly” Star said, hugging Tony and Kyle and kissed Trent before heading back to her room. She ended up locking herself in the bathroom until she could no longer produce tears and by this point, Trent had already broken into the bathroom by the aid of his key and was rocking Star back and forth while sitting on the floor. He held her like the broken child Star felt she was. She welcomed Trent’s embrace and let it consume her, take away all her pain. “Trent?” Star asked
“Yes, my lovely glowing Star?” Trent asked
“Thanks” Star said and then kissed him.
