Unable to Get Over It
Since Mikey knew that his brother was extremely depressed, he decided to leave Gerard alone. Mikey, being Gerard's constant partner-in-crime and ever-so-supportive brother, he knew very well what to do when Gerard's like this.
Mikey prepared a small dinner for his brother. The tray's contents were rattling as he walked to Gerard's room. He carefully knocked at the door. No one responded, so he just opened the door slowly. Inside, he found Gerard on his bed, sleeping soundly. The TV was on. Gerard was apparently looking for news about the accident.
On the floor were pictures of Gerard and Helena. He was supposedly looking at them. Traces of tears were left on the floor and he was sweating heavily.
Mikey set down the food tray and noticed a note on the table.
It said,
I've been unable to get over it. I can't get over it. She brought joy in my life. She supported me. It's hard to cope with the heavy loss of someone you love. Helena... I'll be with you soon...
Mikey set down the note and went out of the door. The night was getting deeper, so he decided to sleep.

Mikey woke up to the ring of his cellphone. It was Bob calling.
"Mikey, how's Gerard doing?"
"It seems he's trying to cope up with the loss..."
"Better watch him. He might turn to drugs and alcohol."
"Of course. Goodbye, Bob."
He hung up.
Mikey walked to the living room and got a magazine to read.
After fifteen minutes, Gerard went downstairs.
"Hey, bro. Are you alright?" Mikey asked his brother.
Gerard was dressed already, as if he'll go out. He didn't speak.
"Gerard, where are you going?"
Gerard just went out of the door. He had some dollars in his pocket.
Mikey didn't know what his brother's going to do, so he followed him.
Turns out, he just bought food from the nearby Burger King shop.
Mikey went home before Gerard arrived.
A few minutes later, Gerard was back. He ate his food and went back upstairs.
Mikey followed.
He went in his brother's room and discovered something wrong.
Gerard was taking drugs.
Oh no... Gerard, you can't possibly be taking these things again...
