Always Love

Set your alarm clock early, my ass. I was anxious. I couldn't sleep a wink.He knew this would happen. He was probably expecting a heart attack. It was October and freakishly cold. I jumped up and ran into the kitchen. Taylor was drinking a cup of coffee.

"Someone's excited. What's going on today hun?"

Should I tell him? Nope. He'd just get upset over it.

"Oh, I'm just going shopping today"

I turned around and poured myself a cup so he couldn't see my face. He can always tell when I'm lying.

"Really. Can I come, you know I've been dying to get some new things."

I knew what to do. Just play it cool.

"Yeah, sure. First we'll go to Barnes & Noble to get some new books, and the good thing is that there's a Starbucks inside the store so we can just grab a quick coffee while reading. Then we can-"

"Please stop talking, you're boring me already."

Good. I'm off the hook for the rest of the day.

"God. How can you be so bitchy so early in the morning?"

"Morning? Babe, its like one already."

I panicked.

"ONE! What! I need to get ready"

"What's the rush? It's only Barnes & Noble"

"Well, um, there's a sale and I don't want to be late."

I ran to the bathroom in a hurry. By two my hair was done, the house was clean, and Taylor was out. Now I was just waiting for my date to come. And then, the doorbell rang. My heart jumped. Rob was here. I opened the door.

"Hey Rob."

"Hello Love, how are you"

He called me love. Again, I can't breathe.

"Pretty good"

"Alright, then. You ready?"

"Yeah, let's go."
