Guilty Until Proved Innocent

Lauren "LaLa" Reed is your everyday, American teenage girl... until she is accused of killing her stepfather and his secretary. Her mother has no idea what to do other than allow the sentencing of life in prison without a chance of ever getting out. But the thing is, she's only fifteen. Miss "LaLa" Reed will have to stay in a "maxium" security Youth Detention Center until she is eighteen; from there she will be transfered into a regular state prison.

But until then, LaLa has a long time to wait until she's even near the big dogs, so she will have to stay with the convient-store robbers, abusive girlfriends, and even a couple of other teens who have gone as far to kill also.

The only problem... Laruen Elizabeth "LaLa" Reed didn't do it.

How will she cope around the thugs of Madame Isaac's YDC for Young Women? Will she ever get a chance to have an appeal? All the evidence points to her... But she didn't do it!

What will she do to get out?
