Adelaide is 14 and has just moved to a new school from across the country. She has moved schools a lot because her single mother has to travel around all the time for her job. It's really hard for Adelaide with all this moving because she's horrible at making meeting new people. She's been to so many schools and made so little friends. And only one is truly worth keeping in contact with; Sarah.

One day, when she was only nine, her father passed away He was an animal photographer that took photographs all over the world but was unfortunately mauled death while working in Asia.

Adelaide recently moves to Perth and meets the boy of her dreams. Or she thinks she has, at least. He is tall, gorgeous, has blue hair and most importantly, he doesn't mind being stupid in public and standing out from a crowd.
