My Knight In Cardboard Armor

I wake up when the car stopped! I feel Tom pick me up, and carry me into a unknown house. He soon laid me on an unknown bed, kiss my forehead and walk out of the room.
I soon hear people start to talk.
“What are we going to do? We can’t let her go home its to risky but, Mom will have a bird if we keep her here!” Tom said
“I think we might just have to purpose the question to Mom and explain what happened and everything!” Oli said
“Purpose what to me?” Asked Oli’s and Tom’s Mom
“Umm.... My girlfriend almost got raped again and we can’t leave her at her house cause he will find her and try again until he succeeds and I don’t want that happening to her and I was wondering if she could possibly stay here?” Tom asked nervously
“Of course honey.... Where is she I want to see how bad she is hurt and I want to talk to her!” Tom’s mom said with a lot of worry in her voice
“She is in my room...I will go get her!” He said and then bounded up the stairs
he gently opened the door and said “Arianna... My mom wants to see you.”
“Okay” I said getting up and walking towards the door.
Before I got passed him he pulled me into a giant hug and said “your not going anywhere alone okay cause next time you might not be as lucky and I really care about you...... I might even love you!”
I felt tears of happiness well up in my eyes as I say “I love you to!”
I go down stairs to see Tom’s mom sitting at the table.
“Hello sweet heart how is your eye doing? And can I get you anything to drink?” She said
“My eye hurts like a bitch! And no I am fine thank you.” I said smiling
“I will go get some ice for your eye then” She said well returning the smile
She soon came back with an ice pack and handed it to me “Do you need anything else? And you are going to stay here for a while until its safe okay.” She said
“Ummm....I need some clothes, and other things.” I said
“Well Tom can go get those things with you, but are you mentally alright.” She asked
“Not really but I guess I can manage.” I said
“My dear, you shouldn’t have to just manage and how many times has this guy tryed to get you?” she asked politely
“Twice but I don’t know how long he has been stalking me or if he has been stalking me.” I stated
“Oh okay but its getting late so we should get Tom to drive to your house and get your stuff okay sweetie.” She smiled and called Tom
“Your taking her to her house and picking up her stuff okay and she is staying in your room!” She said
“Her name is Arianna and okay Mom we will be back in about an hour.” He said then smiled
We walked out the door and got into the car.
The ride was silent but the Tom broke the silence “Did you really mean when you said you loved me to?” He asked
“Yeah I did! Anyways you’re my knight in shining armor!” I said
“defiantly not shining armor but maybe cardboard.” He said laughing
“Okay then, my knight in cardboard armor.” I stated laughing and smiling
We got to my house fairly quickly. I rushed into the house not wanting to relive the memories I had inside the house. I got into my room and grabbed a bag and packed half my clothes into it and started to grabbed what I needed from the bathroom. It took me under 10 minutes to pack.
I rushed out with all my stuff. Tom was leaning up against the car. “That didn’t take you very long.” He said
“I wanted to get out of there!” I stated
“Okay well lets go then.” He smiled
The car ride was a comfortable quiet until I yawned.
“Are you tired?” Tom asked
“Yes!” I said
“Okay we will be there in 2 minutes!” He said
I smiled and everything went back to the comfortable silence it started with.
He pulled up into the driveway. We got out of the car and he grabbed my hand.
We walked up the steps and went into his room. He closed the door and started to change. “Ummm....’ I said speechless
He laughed. “I’m not changing in front of you!” I stated
“I didn’t expect you to or I thought you would have!” He said
“Ummm.... Then were is the bathroom?” I timidly asked
“It’s just down the hall and to the left!” He stated smiling
I grabbed my basketball shorts and my dinosaur tee shirt and walked to the bathroom.
I was soon done and walked into the room. Tom was laying on the bed waiting for me. I laid down comfortably in his arms and put my head on his chest. I soon fell asleep with his steady breathing and his heart beat and the last thing I heard was “I love you Arianna....more then you will ever know!”
