Ashe is a mercenary. Unconcerned with the violent exchanges between volatile political factions, she and her team work for those who have the coin to spend.

Everyone in their "family", though extraordinarily gifted, is human enough to escape the notice of higher authorities. From Ronin, master swordsman, to Akira, talented healer and psychic, and Conall, the charismatic leader who is able to shapeshift at whim, they are free of any obligation to powerful Houses or Kingdoms.
